It's an extremely bad comparison, b&e vs rape. I assume you've never had a conversation with someone who was raped, sexually assaulted, etc. It is an extremely traumatic experience where the victims question why it happened, why it happened to them, how will friends, family, society will see them now, are they to blame, etc. Asking why a rape victim didn't just "call the cops like a normal person" is the same as asking why soldiers with PTSD don't just "get over it like a "normal person" (this comment is sarcasm. PTSD is horrible and should be taken extremely seriously)

This is true. If our society would provide more support and education for rape victims, instead of blaming the victim and making being raped a preexisting condition (i.e. rape victims denied coverage because they obtained mental health services and treatment to prevent HIV/STD infections due to rape), maybe more victims would come forward when it happens.

 

I think we should start teaching "proper rape techniques" in high school.
Might ass well, nothing else is being taught with our tax dollars in public schools.....

 

Cosby is guilty of rape & that's it. Only in a court does a guy like this walk: in America, money buys freedom, esp if you're famous wealthy & black, can you say OJ.

What I have a hard time dealing with is when Black America dumps Cosby like a bad habit after the "Pound Cake Speech", then rallied to his side when it becomes "another innocent black man accused of (fill in the blank)."
