95% of SI users are probably from east coast coastal counties, with a sprinkling of California and Oregon. If pres. elections were based on SI users we'd now be in Ralph Nader's 6th presidential term, and pot would be sold at 7-11s using EBT cards.

never said that polls don't get things wrong. they do. sometimes bigly wrong. i'd have to check but i suspect the polls you cited that were wrong were probably within their respective margins of error. but they do matter otherwise companies, politicians and others wouldn't spend tons of time and money on them.

Voting Democrat for weed purposes is too high a cost to pay.

right. much better to destroy countless lives and families over a victimless crime.

There you go again. Those families destroyed themselves by breaking the law. The law itself has no role. The behavior does.
    Geezz....liberals!!!

I didn't say that. My life is pretty damn good, been a daily smoker for much of my adult life. Never had an issue. I don't know too many people who's lives have been ruined over herb. I'm sure they are out there but usually people who ruin their lives, do so by being a moron, and usually have bigger issues beyond herb.

Just saying people have them self to blame for their legal troubles. I got arrested for DUI once, got it dropped to a wreckless driving. It was my fault, I own it. That's all there is to it. I didn't blame the law or the officer, or the government.

laws against dui are good imo because it is truly an irresponsible act. otoh, laws against possessing a plant are just stupid and wrong. i bet your tune would change if you ever got busted for weed. got dragged through the criminal court system. couldn't smoke for a year or two because random testing terms of probation.

    Weed laws suck.

    Legalize bud and hoes.

    GTFO of our lives.

    Make America blaze again.

All of that can be avoided by NOT consuming weed. It is behaviour that is the problem, not the law.
But, for those of you that are addicted I hear violins playing, "My Heart Bleeds for You"!!

I obviously agree with both of you that it should be legal. I also agree that driving while drunk or buzzed is irresponsible and should have penalty. It was a turning point in my life. If I got in trouble for herb I would have no one to blame but me, sorry, I stand by that. I want it legal too but it's not yet, and never has been. Who knows what the future holds. As of now, nothing has changed. Medical is still legal here in FL, I've just been too lazy to look into it.

because it is the law doesn't mean that it is right or just. it used to be legal to possess othe humans. it used to be illegal for whites and blacks to marry. those laws were wrong and unjust. telling somebody what they can or can not do with their own body is also wrong and unjust. now go pop a few more vicodin you addict :D

The point you miss is, as long as the law stands, you need to make sure you are in compliance, at least, publicly. Once the law changes, if ever, then you are free to move around the cabin.
