tried Foster Farms pre-sauced (frozen) tequila/lime wings today...awful. No flavor, no tang, barely any salt and kind of a metallic undertone. Seriously, you'd need to be stoned to enjoy them. Now I gotta figure out what to do with the rest of the bag (when in doubt, make soup).

On my own.. spouse and spawn on a whale watch. Grilled these items:
Chicken marinated in a bourbon sauce (S&S meat counter special)
    Hanna white organic sweet taters
Plaintains done in coconut oil on foil.
    Hone made guacamole
    Ice water with lime juice.

Later after I run an errand, a devils purse handline kölsch ale pounder.. although this goes in the other tread.

Aaaaahh man! That does sound good. Very similar to how i make em. But iv never made my own tortillas, ic always wanted to try that. Good stuff mang.

DosXX- kabobs are delicious. I'm more of a shrimp kabob guy myself though. Probably going to make some tomorrow for the 4th. Never put salad dressing oon it though. I'll have to give that a shot too. Thanks for the idea

And red dog..... swordfish might be my favorite fish to grill/eat. Besides maybe tuna. Now I'm really hungry.

Getting some good ideas from you guys. Keep them coming

I've saved so much money since I bought the tortilla press. A big bag of maeseca tortilla flour is $3 and usually last me a month or more. Just add water. I used to spend $10 a week on store bought tortillas.

    Here's the press I bought

I actually have one, too. I haven't used mine in years, I just go buy a bag of 50 tortillas for $2.79. I know homemade is better, I'm just being lazy

Quick question. Can that press make tortillas with different kinds of flours? Been doing paleo with wife, so having a way to make non wheat/corn tortillas would be great. They have tortillas made with cassava, almond, and other flours, but they get pricey. I'm game to experiment. Thanks in advance.
