Boxing aint just throwing fists... No way Conner hits as hard as trained boxers. And definitely not with the same precision (which is probably more important)
His speed is nothing compared to Floyd. He will be the slowest opponent Floyd has ever face and Floyd will be the fastest for Conner.

Agree on the 40 year old thing. Age does show up in fighters at the most inopportune times. But if he's still in good shape and doesn't show age he will be able to end the fight at will.

Btw, that's a guy in his late 20's knocking out a guy over 40. Once the greatest but father time caught up. He use to take punches like that no problem, he got tapped and went out that time.

with 4 oz gloves and you can jump on him when he goes down to finish him... And yes anyone can knocked out if they stick their chin out and say hit me. If Floyd does that, yes he can get KO'd

It was hard to watch the last few fights for Silva. Some guys need to know when to shut it down

Yes, with 4 oz. gloves, but again, that didn't use to matter for that guy. He should have retired before and went out on top, but these guys think they're invisible. Floyd's the favorite no doubt, but it can happen man.

Something else to consider. Floyd has never faced someone who talks sh*t and gets in peoples heads as good as Conner does. He'll get under his skin no doubt, how he handles that is up to him. Wouldn't it be great if he got suckered into a brawl or got him to lose his composure just once and get caught.

Remember Buster Douglas. Anything is possible in boxing.

Question for you DP, don't you think you could beat a lightweight? Meaning a 120 pound champion boxer? I assume you are bigger, so I am wondering if the size difference would matter. I weigh 183, and I think I would get destroyed.

Today, i'd get destroyed, provided it's pure boxing. If i'm allowed to grab ahold of the little f*cker and spike him on his head, I could and would do that.

Had I kept training in martial arts I think my size would hard for them to overcome. I'm 180lbs right now, if I got into fighting shape and cut weight i'd be able to make 155 but would probably end up at 170 since i'm much stronger at that weight.

But we're not talking about novice fighter vs. a professionally trained fighter. We're talking about the P4P best fighter in MMA right now, at his peak, two division champion vs. a retired 40 year old boxer who won't take a non-boxer seriously. He's in for a rude awaking if he doesn't give him the same respect as Pacquiao.

Seen it, can't compare the two, different drills. Conner aint gonna show everything he has before the fight.
