Flat this morning again.
But there are about 200 surfers all crowded together showing off their wetsuit fashions!!!

 

For the record, my wipe out in PR was not on a LB, it was on my 6'4" Coil. I wouldn't have paddled out on a LB in those conditions.

 

So, the truth comes out!! Your COIL is to blame!! Ahhh-HAAAAAA!!!!!!

Yup, the damn thing didn't have a scratch on it either, but it had a new shade of red tint to it, but that washed off.

 

You are lucky there were not any scraggly-toothed predators near by. I have seen quite a few in that neck of the woods, which, btw, reminds me of something--despite not wanting to return to PR, my wife has insisted we go, so I just booked a trip back to Rincon for December. How can I say no??? I hope there will be a nice swell then; usually is to some degree or other...

 

Yeah agreed, that was the last thing on my mind to be honest, given the situation. I have never seen one shark in PR. People have told me they don't really have a problem with them there but I know better than to believe it. I figure they are everywhere.

 

Lemon sharks, bull sharks, and tigers are the biggies there. I cannot say they are a problem, but they are there.

Never saw a shark while surfing there, but I did see a healthy sized tiger while snorkeling at tres on a flat day.

 

Well, we had a couple of JetBlue tickets in "travel bank", and we could not find any other place we really like to go, sooooooooo.......
I am going to order that board soon, but not with pin tail--squash mo' betta!!
Ooops....my granddaughter just woke up so now I needs to get back to playing grandpa!!

Man that light wind really tore it up down my way. More swell than that but ripped apart and too straight east.

 

Why October?? To PR? Not the best month for swell, DP, unless you buy last minute airfare for a reported swell??
