It's our Wedding Anniversary and my wife's B Day in Oct.. I've been lucky going in mid - late October and late April, offseason technically but there's always waves and less crowd. Usually will get one big day, one really good but not so big day, and a few average days. I can live with that.
Then I'm relieved that I didn't make the long haul for nada.....does look like some bumps on the horizon...
It was worth it, warm water, surfing with my son before he's off on his travels before college etc. Mitchell's shot looks so much better condition wise. At least there was virtually no one in the water other than annoying swimmers.
Nice write up sounds like your life has been treating you well. Good job on healing too Inwas wondering how you were
Good enough reason, man. When you are there, take her to the Copa Llena (Full Cup) Restaurant, near the Marina. A bit pricey, but delicious. We eat there almost every night. The tostones are great. And yes, October can be good as well. We almost went there in October, BUT...we already have a France trip booked 3rd week.
Dude...you have got to move to a beach location; all your suffering in travels....is really needed?? If it is, I get it. Money talks and bullsh1t walks.
Thanks for the tip, that's probably the only place in Rincon we haven't eaten at yet. Not for any reason, just don't recall seeing it.
Too bad we couldn't go in October--I would have taken you two out for dinner. Next time. My daughter wanted to come, but, she got a collitch prof job so she will be pontificating in a classroom--it is the price she has to pay for being a smarty.....
One of these days we should have an SI gathering in Rincon. Surf and bash.... Well, I'll be closing up computerizing for today; was a great day trading; I earned some buckeroos today despite having to play gramps (they returned home today).
You are correct, I am trying to make that happen & I'll post the results here....soon is the goal.... I know: define soon, I would if I could....gracias senor B
Just had a pretty good 2.5 surf. Was amazed at how warm the water is. This was my first time in the water in Jersey in about 3 weeks, after spending a week in California and then having to work for 10 days after getting back. Probably should have used a longbort, but it was still decent.
A monument of each of us brandishing our middle fingers to the surfing marketers!! At the entrance to Marias Beach!!
