The graph shows that premiums would have doubled without the ACA. Runaway healthcare costs was the top political issue in 2008 aside from the financial crisis, don't forget this. Insurance companies are not making out like bandits which is why they are leaving the exchanges because they are now having to insure older people and people with pre-existing conditions which they didn't have to before. Pre-ACA, insurance companies had complete discretion on whom they would insure, what they would charge, and what they would cover.
If by 'working people', you mean those making more than $250,000, then you are correct, but for the average American, no effect in taxes, and many pay less in the form of tax credits. btw, aren't all taxes stealing, whether it be for roads, common defense, or social security? But then again, aren't we all benefiting from the infrastructure, education, and laws that give us freedom, and allow us to pursue our interests?
Cross check the data if you like, it's consistent across multiple sources. The costs reported are out of pocket premiums, which is the best way to measure the direct cost increase impact to consumers. Lastly, direct 'patient to provider' might work fine for bumps and bruises, but not for cancer, or any serious medical issue, which is why medical debt is the number one cause of personal bankruptcies for the uninsured.
While all agree the U. S. President has the complete power to pardon, why think of that when only crime so far is LEAKS against us.FAKE NEWS https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/888724194820857857
I dont even make a third of that on paper and my rates go fkn vertical you are a fkn idiot You dont think we can voluntarily source work to make roads and such? why do you think it has to be stolen via force? you have a small intellect and love violence my god you're a fkn azzhole
This ^^ is utter, total crapola, in fact lies. No, I am not at all referring to anyone making over $250k - - make an attempt not to put words in my mouf, sterile pony. Every single one of my employees over the age of 50 have been reamed financially by your precious Ocare. Their premiums instantly quadrupled when Ocare went into effect. Year after year after year. Go to any doctor's office, if you care to see it then you will know that these docs are sagging under the insane rules & regs that the fed govt dumped on all providers. Barry is correct; get govt & insurance leeches OUT of the massive medicale scam. Anything, outside of natl defense, that the govt touches turns to chaos & shiiite, sigggus. Yet, you think the feds are the saviors, that they belong in every aspect of our lives. You've made that crystal clear with your posts over the past year or so. People like you appear to be functional yumans but the reality is that you're done & done, you're insane, you just don't get it, you posture so you sound good to the women you're trying to bang. Including your wife. What blue ball state of delusional jag-offery do you exist in, sigwanker??
what if trump is really a Russian double agent working for the fbi and acting as the president at the same time?
I hope so. It would serve the American culture right, then to re-evaluate its priorities, not winning at all cost.
Man large marge your company sounds like a terrible place to work. You don't even offer a health plan? You either hire a bunch of felons who dont have many options or have down syndrome.
The way I feel is govt should get out of private citizens lives. Get rid of insurance companies too. Most docs and hospitals take advantage of insurance by performing unnecessary tests therefore driving up insurance rates. Let the free market take care of the health system. Look at laser eye corrective surgery that insurance companies don't pay for. 10 years ago it was roughly $2000 per eye. Today its about $500 per eye, and the technology is far better. It is somewhat perplexing that in this day and age that health care costs have gone up and not down. I mean look at the tech industry. Year after year the technology gets better and better and what you payed for 5 years ago (television for example) was more expensive and not as good as what you would buy today for far less. Oh and BTW before the ACA if someone wasn't insured and couldn't afford ER visits, there was a thing called charity care. The ACA did away with that. So now the single mom who works 2-3 jobs to support her kids is paying for Jose and Juanitas hospital bills.
Depends on what you define poor as. Rex is living comfortably and surfs world class waves on the regs. What are you doin? Workin to pay for the big house and nice car to surf sh!ttay EC summer slop. That's if you even surf troll.
I love how you kooks defend each other, very cute. So does 2.0 mean more mental illness or less? And oh yeah you are over 3,000 posts, go outside, do something with your life.
Do you have this website hooked up to your veins like an IV? Have you gone the last 5 years without taking an hour off?
Ahh yes FungAss. Spent 6 hours at the beach today surfing 1 footers on the softie, hangin with friends, and throwing the stick and swimming with the dog. Now enjoying a coldie and sh!t posting. And I'm not defending anyone. Only pointing out that money doesn't define how rich or poor someone is. It's a state of mind. Believe me I know. 99% of the uber rich housewives I work for are miserable cvnts like you. Now if you don't mind I'm gonna leave and make myself a gourmet dinner. Ya see I am multi talented and used to cook in fine restaurants for 10 years before I decide that career wasn't for me.
