question if the eclipse occurs around 2 and it gets totally dark like nighttime wouldn't shark activity increase since its going to slowly be getting dark toward full eclipse itll be like evening
Also, it'll come around low tide here in CHS so it'll be a good time to practice your night sand reconne skills.
Think of it like a storm cloud that rolls through and is gone, minus the rain, unless of course it's raining..
Clouds are translucent and let light through so that's not the best comparison. Frost, despite what you may have head about the sharclipse, they will not sprout legs and begin their reign of terror. If you're afraid of them during the eclipse, you should be afraid of them all the time. The opposite equivalent says don't fear our little sharks and wear your eclipse glasses.
they tend to be more active at night(stars) correct?.i have heard wildlife gets confused during a total eclipse.. anyway someones gonna get a killer photo on a wave with the eclipse in the backdrop behind them gopro sun filter needed though more than likely
i don't go into the ocean at night, not afraid cause i know they are always out there but knowingly cautious id say cuz i do know they feed more and are more active during evening to before sunrise
uh oh "There are a number of anecdotal reports of animals acting strange during totality like reef sharks swimming out from their daytime cover" https://www.nytimes.com/guides/science/how-to-watch-a-solar-eclipse?mcubz=1
LOLZ Frost, you are one of a kind. Wayne's God has blessed you! Be safe out there during the Solar apocalypse.
Sounds like you need to just stay out of the ocean Frost, it seems to be a bit too dangerous for you.
Anyone in the Charleston area gonna be surfing Isle of Palms or Sullivan's Island? Looks like both spots will be in the path of totality. Probably gonna be sh!t waves but pretty memorable none the less.
do you have any idea what the chances of you being killed by a shark are? you got a better chance dying in your car on the way to the break!
