doubt it's gonna change surfing at all, but it sure looks fun. also looks like you get seriously waxed by being in the wrong place at the right moment when it snaps.

Interesting concept... would be good for those wanting to learn to surf since catching the wave and dropping in is most challenging

But overall... idk .... I like lining up and paddling for a wave and dropping in... missing half the experience of surfing...

Reminds me of a slip and slide...

I think we had a thread on this a few months back. A lot of people seemed to be into it, but I was one of the ones that really wasn't. I'd probably try it, if I had the opportunity. I also am not really one for running or diving into water. I've broken each ankle once, and have always a bit clumsy when running through something slippery.

Thanks Headhigh. The guys that are not into it, are you saying you 100% would not try it? I would def play on that thing for a while!! Just because you take an hour or two with some friends and play around on this thing, doesn't mean you are a kook! Don't get me wrong, I prefer me paddling into a wave, but I would def play on this thing for a while. Have fun

There was a thread about this already not long ago. Fun? Sure, but not something I would wanna do regularly or try to replace how we surf. It's a step off minus the ski.

Yeah, I'd try it once or twice.

Don't think I'd like it much.

pretty suite they're putting more plastic out in the ocean. not sure how the environmentalists would like it, but i'm sure they're all thumbs up. Bali would allow this, i'm sure that place is a shthole tho i know that's not the majority decision here in a surfer forum. it's still part of Indonesia and that place gets plagues and blow-it-out-of-your-arse chow down, so in a way i'm glad it's happening to these dbags with their plastic walkway

We get plagues here as well. Presently the actual "plague", Yersinia Pestis, of Black Death repute, has found a reservoir population in prairie dogs in the midwest, and in squirrels out west. Cannot wait to see when the first cases get transmitted to humans!!
We also have HIV, HCV< etc, etc.....all plagues.
Then, finally, we have illegal mexicans--they are a plague, just a different type. We also have BLM; same thing. And....last but not least we have surfers, kooks plaguing our surf breaks......all plagues and infestations.

Aren't you glad you made that statement??? lol

"Change the surfing world forever" is the most hilarious statement I've seen in a while.
