Saw the Marcus King band play the Burley Oak Brewery in west OCMD last night. Classic southern rock/soul sound and Marcus is one amazing guitar player. See them if you get a chance.

1993-1995....man what a wierd couple years that was for music. Nirvana had punched a truck sized hole through the hair metal crap, gave a burst of oxygen to music, and suddenly there were a thousand bands and if they could produce an edgy rock song that was even remotely catchy, they cashed in nicely.
The Verve, The Vervepipe... 7 Mary 3, Spacehog, Local H, Better than Ezra... And another few hundred bands from that time period. Saw some of those bands with Filter.
