I'm on a kind of vacation. Work slowed down after Harvey flooded Houston, so I'm just chillin.

Lone Star Rally is crankin up here in Galveston. My house is a couple blocks from the most of it. It's always a fun weekend. Sweet bikes everywhere.

No surf today. Water's down into the 60s, so it's time for my bony butt to get the wetsuite out.

Hope Melbourne is still workin for ya.

Everywhere all around us had feet of water. We just had a foot, and it drained the same day.

It was all rain, not surge.

EC had (I don't like this word, but it applies) epic surf this hurricane season from what I saw. You're just gettin a little flat spell now vs then. I'd much rather have it firin when the water is 80 than when it's winter time.

Those of us who are quite upset over seeing our flag, anthem, and military trashed have every right to be upset.

And guess what?

We are.

Them players will be protestin to empty stadiums before long.

Some of us take the flag, anthem, and armed forces very seriously.

We watch, or used to watch, the NFL for entertainment.
