A 6'0 Canyon and a 5'11 Lost Stub Rocket. Prob more the Lost. Rode the Canyon till it died then got the lost. Not matter what else i bring to the beach I rode these. Don't know why I bothered with other boards.

I usually only have enough money for about 2 or 3 boards. So i gotta ride my main board until until i dial it and becomes magic.

Mini Simmons quad, Mystic JAX Beach. In chest to head high surf, it feels like flying.

Jon Ashton 6'2" bat tail quad. I was at his shop not even looking to buy a board but it was sitting there and the shape just caught my eye. Its kind of like an MR super twin outline but bat tail instead of swallow. Prior to grabbing this board i hadn't ever given a second thought about a bat tail. I've had it 7 years now and has been my go to board the entire time. Fast when pumped, but knifey rails so it feels really responsive when put on rail. When i took two boards to El Salvador and Peru the second board never got ridden this board felt so perfect. Doesn't grovel well...i assume due to decent amount of rocker, pinched rails, and longer length.

The red board in the front is my personal favorite. Picked it up of the Kcoast used board rack. The wide spot is under the chest; because of that it paddles great, gets you in early, is easy to duck dive, and stable; its not quite as maneuverable as a HPSB but can still turn and hit the lip. Works in anything from waist high to overhead. Love that board.

I had a town and country from the 80s that had nose rot really bad and I cut it down to 5’4” and reshaped the nose... gotta say that board was magic. So much fun but it’s dead now. Every kind of delam, fin break, rail cancer....

O bagus....what happened, some spic steal your board?? HAHAHA!! I promise--I wasn't in your neighborhood; I don't like ghettos <grin>
Having said that--best board ever--G&S Magic round pin. Mine is 7'8". For the East Coast--very appropriate board. For older farts like you and I, great for early entry, ease of paddling.
Oh, and btw....Merry Christmas, bagus. Should you come up here, send me a PM, if that is even possible in the new SI.

In the early-mid 80s I had a Al Merrick 7'0" / 2.75" thick, squashtail that was for Reef Road and Pumphouse on DOH plus days, it was butter on the drops, still turned real well on good waves. It would hold a steep drop/bottom turn, and slingshot you down the line. This was back when Mr. Merrick had a lot more involvement with his shapes sold to the GenPop. Was very sturdy, as well.

Honestly, I can't remember how she died, she still haunts me. I must have blacked it out.

I listed my rocket as well. Loved that thing. Funny thing is I hated it for months..."can't turn it" took me awhile to figure it out don't know about you bros.

Right on. My 6’4” has a swallow tail, it’s a blast in anything waist - well overhead, it’s seen DOH a couple times but the flat bottom with a little V out the back makes it a bit fast at that size lol
