i usually hold on to them to use as loaners for when friends show up with no equipment. You can also sell it on craigslist or take it to a sports consignment shop and get a few bucks for it (think $25)

Why not just keep wearing it? Unless it's fucked up! I wear mine until they're ruined or start taking in water! Haha, just kidding. Well, kind of!

Make it into a spring suit and cut the a$$ out of it. Wear it during the summer to help clear out the line up.

At any given time, I have 12-15 wetsuits, different thickness, different brands.
When I am done with one, I put it in the garbage, where it belongs. Right now, I have 2 going into the garbage soon, after few years use. Then I will buy 2 more.
See, nothing magic about that. And nothing "passionate" about it--it just is that way.

what does one do with 15 different wetsuits.....I have an old one with the zippers broke,im thinking that cutting around the arms and legs would make cool koozies, or neoprene knee elbow wraps etc..cut in squares could be coasters

I repair them and keep wearing them until they're useless... then they go in the trash. I wish they could be recycled, but they can't... at least not yet.

I have over 12 used up wetsuits. One is Long Jane where a small shark bit my knee and left a hole in my knee area. I save that as a badge of honor.

Most of the used ones are 1 mm long suits that I Bought for and I use for swimming in a local pool in the winter. Some have no arms that I sliced off. Some have short legs.

I also have a few used 3/2 mm surfing wetsuits. They leak in the seams. I Friends borrow them. I can’t bring myself to throw them out. Last week it was so cold that I used an old 3/2mm long suit to swim in the cold, poorly heated local pool .

The 3 worn out 2mm jackets are good for swimming in the chilly winter. Similarly the old vest works out in the pool and as a loaner.

Barry, 12 - 15 suites, jesus! Starting a flea market?

I have 4. 2 springsuites (one I need to get rid of), 2 - 3/2's (one is for sale) and 1 - 4/3. I do have 2 sets of 3 mill gloves and 2 sets of 5 mill gloves. Started out with Xcel and then went to Flashbomb. The Xcels are for sale if anyone wants them, excellent condition, size xl.

12-15 wetsuits sounds like a smelly closet to me lol. My buddy made a Rubbermaid container his wetsuit/gear box and he glued the back of an old wetsuit to the lid of the box which he stands on while changing.. saves the wetsuit from gravel/sand and keeps your feet comfortable.

Unlike most slobs, after I rinse my wetsuits out very well, I air my wetsuits out, outside, even in winter. And I do not store them in a closet; they are in a very large room called the basement, which, in my case, has large windows, walk out door, etc. They do, however, smell like wax, especially if I use that damned perfumed wax (Bubblegum wax??). Having multiple wetsuits means I never have to slip into a wet wetsuit.......
I use a small outdoor rug for standing on when changing by my car--same effect as using your pals idea, which, is a good one.
