Surfbort wax

The best wax I ever applied to my board here in cold NH is tropical wax--it stays there forever, and only requires an occasional combing. Me thinks the wax science has it backwards. But, then again, it is surfers making those decisions, and we all know what they are......

 

I kinda remember having tropical wax flake off in cold water? Or maybe it's the other way around ... idk lol I'm just gonna start using slipcheck

 

Eh, whatever is cold. I usually be too lazy to get wax so I usually just wax up with whatever nub I can scrounge.....if I can scrounge.....

 

Yeah I have used the Bubble Gum before. It's okay. Smells nice. But I like the Humps for cold water best.

 

You guys are freezing my nuts off! How about Ultra tropical, as in 86F+ water with 90+ air and sunny. That warm water wax will ooze all over like a laxative day session.

 

Bubble gum is sticky wax, never tried it in the winter/cold water wax... I remember the stuff being all the craze back in the 2000's
