I barely watch TV I just thought it would be funny, and it is on for 2 hours. You could catch some more laughs after It's Always Sunny. I'd rather watch hockey if anything, which there's a few games on tonight.

But if anything, O'Neill World Cup of Surfing is on, then opening ceremony for the Eddie Aikau

Soo who saw it lol? All I can say is rediculous... Snooki is my favorite, the miniture guidette who may be a legitimate dwarf. There are like two people on the show who are not completely guido'ed out but others are just unbelievable. Do you guys who live/ surf around where ever Jersey shore is filmed get to really witness the guidos thrive in their natural habitat? great entertainment im sure

To date, this show has probably aired about 17 times. I've watched it like 2.5 times. I don't think MTV is trying to say "this is summer at every beach in NJ", I think they're just documenting the summer experience for this specific group of idiots. They clearly state that only one guy, The Situation, is from NJ. This show isn't bad for NJ, these people are bad for NJ. Funny as all hell though, I have to admit that much.

I love how they keep saying calling themselves, "Jersey girls or Jersey guys". They are not from NJ and do not live here... I don't get it.

The one girl is from Hazlet Sammie I think her name is. And the one guy The Situation is from Manalapan I think everyone else is either from NY or RI

this show is great for NJ; the state is way too crowded as it is, so anything that will dissuade more people from coming here is a net plus in my book

someone asked whether Guidos ever try to surf - the answer is not really. The muscles are all cosmetic, they are usually massively unathletic

That's how they say it on the show, but on the website it says The Situation is from SI. Either way he sucks. :D

    give this show a chance

Honestly, I was furious when I first heard about this show. But after some thought, I realized that any bad image that this show places on Jersey is one of two things: 1) has already been placed on NJ or 2) keeps people out of NJ.

AKA this is better than most people are thinking.

However, I hate the depiction of Italian-Americans (as I am one) because it just makes us look like a bunch of retarded goons. Watching the show upset me when I saw all of the Italian objects in their house.

Having said that (Curb Your Enthusiasm joke there), this show is ****ing hilarious. These people are just the most arrogant, egotistical dumbasses in all of the world. Watching their antics and listening to their epic lines have hooked me on watching the entire series. Also, last summer my sister and friend felt like going to a bar in Belmar. I should've realized. We went to Dee Jai's (however the **** you spell it). I left before even getting into the bar. EVERYONE had big biceps, blow-out hair, and accents. I probably inhaled steroids. Seeing these monsters up close and personal makes me credit MTV for finding ACTUAL guidos for the show. Kudos, MTV, kudos.
