I know I ask every year, but are any of you suckers in the area participating? It's a great cause and we always get drunk, I mean, have fun! We usually do some type of costume and end up in the news or whatever. This was one of our best, KISS. Anyway, it's coming up this weekend and this should be a fun year with water in the 30's
Ah, to be young again... But being a bit long in the tooth, and hopefully wiser, getting s-faced and jumping into 30-plus degree water sounds like fools' fun and would prolly kill me. What is the cause? We have the same event here in Feb, and it's for the Special Olympics. I don't do mud runs either...
As I get older, there is less alcohol involved. HA HA Ours is also for Special Olympics. This will be my 16th year participating. I have never done a mud run, but I wouldn't mind to try one... I guess.
I've never done one and never will. Props to those who do it for charity. I'll just hand over the cash...
