I had a buddy who was "gifted". He had to get his wife drunk for the whole anal thing. I don't think she's felt a turd in 20+ years.
1) at least 200# less than the median per capita bench press in Belmar 2) 225-240 depending on the day 3) why not keep her drunk all the time? 4) i can eat 3000 calories in a sitting any time, any day, any place, at any level of sobriety, no questions asked. i am always hungry.
New Jersey, eh?? Shouldn't it be?: 1) at least 230lbs bench... 2) 230 depending on the day 3) keep her drunk 23 hrs/day--one for sex. 4) Eat 2300 calories, 5) surf 23 ft waves. I mean, we are talking Belmar here....
You know what's crazy? I just realized that Bill Paxton is dead. I always thought it was Bill Pullman (The president in Independence Day) that had died. RIP Chet from Weird Science.
In the spirit on this devolving thread, the interview scene from "The Enforcer"... Lt Dobbs: Are you finished with the questioning, Callahan? Harry Callahan: Hypothetical situation, huh?... All right. I'm standing on the street corner, and Mrs. Gray there comes up and propositions me. She says if I come home with her, for $5 she'll put on an exhibition with a Shetland pony... Mrs. Gray: If this is your idea of humor, Inspector... LT Dobbs: All right, what are you trying to do here, Callahan? Harry Callahan: I"m just trying to find out if anybody in this room knows what the hell law is being broken, besides cruelty to animals...
While some people giving to Ben do so in order to self-promote, the other people give because Ben has already given to them. The subscribers that love Ben get a piece of him every single day. He literally has been giving himself to YouTube every day, sharing his life and adventures every day, sharing his stoke for surfing every single day. The dedicated subscribers see this, and feel this, and many of the letters that Ben receives are simply thanking him for what he has so freely given to anyone willing to watch and listen. If you can't see that what he is receiving is literally a direct result of what he has selflessly given to the YouTube world day in and day out for months on end, then you couldn't possibly begin to understand the motivation behind people giving him things. Most people are not giving him things because they expect something in return; they give to him because they have already received so much benefit from him. Karma has circled back to Ben here in a big way. When he started his vlogs he was in possibly the worst place he's ever been in his life (his words). At first, the vlogs gave him something to focus on. Then, they became so much more than that. Here is the key difference in mindset. If you don't understand it, you're probably the dude that paddles out and pretends no one else in the lineup exists. Ben's the guy that paddles out, says hi to everyone, makes meaningful connections with people, and elevates the vibe out there. To the person who doesn't understand: every wave is a competition. To Ben: he is just beyond stoked he got to paddle out that day.
And this thread is kinda like the Karmic Wheel. All the way around to back on topic... Don't know who the previous poster is, but well written and very genuine. No sarcasm there.
This thread wasnt about Ben - i used him as a example. I do appreciate your opinion but i still dont understand. You lost me with the talk about people giving to him as some sort of quid pro quo because he gives them a piece of himself. I will add this subject to my ever growing vault of items i dont comprehend.
great post new guy now.....i want to let forum know that the A$AP Ferg feat. Nicki Minaj song Plane Jane is appropriate for this post. as the completely classy ms minaj states in the closing chorus "eat a barbie a** or something"
Your wrong. Flat out. Sorry. I get everything your saying. And I'm not saying ben is a bad guy or anything like that. But guy..... Its a you tube channel. Sure its a bit motivational. That's cool. But if your receiving that much from watching a 10 min you tube video everyday, you got issues. Go out and live your own life, make your own karma, motivate yourself. Has nothing to do with "every wave being a competition". I don't get stoked seeing ben surf and yap. I get stoked going out and surfing myself, meeting new people, making my own adventures. That's the problem with society. You just nailed it on the head. People would rather live their life in front of a computer screen then go out and actually live and create memories. That's not saying Ben is bad. He's living his life. People need to put the technology down and stop living vicariously through Ben or any other you tube guy/gal.
