I couldn't resist....I opened a bottle after a week, wow, I couldn't believe the change, a carmel sweetness beginning with a very nice hopp finish, the carbonation was good but I'm sure another week will be even better....cheers

    No babes today??
You missed out on the opportunity today to have an all african-american babe photo "spread" for the boys, all in the name of MLK.
You still have time.......tic, toc, tic, toc.......

20180216_154958.jpg Here is a pic of the Irish Red Ale, its a pretty damn good beer at 5.70% abv., it will buzz you pretty quick. Not like a Killians, but still good. Oh.....that's Zoey showing off.....awesome Dog

I'm no expert...I've only made 3 batches in my long 3 month career...but not a bad one yet.

I was actually thinking about a brewing supply store, not one around these parts, nearest one is in Seabass, father and son shop, could be a good retirement job....hmmmm.

It really is cheaper, if you have the time....4 hrs. for the brew day and 4 hrs. for the bottling day and a recipe for a 5 gallon batch would run you about 35 to 40 clams, but honestly, it really is fun to do...and the difference between a store bought and your homebrew, the taste is so much better...remember store bought beer is pasteurized and it really kills flavor.

I brewed a Fat Tire clone a few weeks ago, pretty good, I just brewed a Blue Moon Beer today, I will let you guys know how it turned out. I do think I'm going to start all grain brewing, I'm getting all the extra stuff I need......cheers

I just got finished drinking my first all grain beer ( I have been brewing extract kits ), I did not know what kind of difference that would make, another Irish Red but the taste is so much cleaner and with robust caramel flavors...mmmmm….with a 7.4 % abv, it's kick ass
