I’ll try to remember to take pictures... I always get so excited when there is big swell I just suit up and paddle. Haven’t surfed a swell this big and long period in a good while.
looking like a 5 day push off this thang. the weird thing is that we'd usually get the beginning and the end of a said storm, the middle of the storm would be when it's blowing hard winds. for some reason, at least here on Folly, we're expecting the middle of it all to be the best <5 mph winds. it's odd. daylight savings time coming in a couple weeks tho, my best sessions lately have been in the sunset ones. I'll usually have about 45 min after work while the ol bum me would have had 4 sessions the whole day
Going adventuring with the mates, will post pics in The Who’s been surfing recently thread, stay safe everyone.... Know your limits, turn around - don’t drown..
Iop is gonna be kinda funky that outer sandbar past the pier will soak this swell up if you wait til high tide your gonna have a long paddle out to get there should be interesting I think the washout would handle it the best
my dude, how does one become well known at 56 posts? i think i missed a name change. gotta get back here more often.
hit the swell or one of these^....if i had to chose the latter i'd take door number third from the right
