Hey bo's, been away for a while and was saddened to hear of sandblasters recent demise but I got over it shortly.

Anyways, I need to replace the bushings on my carver. I was about to check out on the website when I saw the shipping for the $5 bushings was going to be $25. I guess they only ship with fedex. I draw the line when the shipping is 5x the purchase price. Has anyone ordered from them before? Or can anyone recommend some bushings that I can get off amazon? The squeak is driving me nuts and i gotta be damaging something.

Where's emazz when you need him? He seemed to be one of SI's carver enthusiasts. Maybe PM him?

    Good luck with your quest.

These look like they will work. They are 87a hardness and look just like the OEM carver bushings. I'm not a carver expert, but as long as you're not hearing scraping or grinding you're likely not doing any damage.

I have had trucks that squeaked since the day they were new and others that were completely silent. I guess I just got used to the sound of the squeaky ones. These are regular skateboard trucks though, not carver.

email back from carver states they can do it for $9 with no guarantees on how long it will take or the condition when they get here. I'm heading to a local shop.
