pretty cool how that storm ended up kicking back long period swell today. Its SOOO far out in the Atlantic, and the fetch looked like it was all pointed south - I didnt think we would get a taste but we did. 2-3 foot @ 16 sec on the bouys all day translated to long lulls, but then sets of chest high waves out of nowhere. REALLY long period, the kind of lines that feel the bottom way outside and start slowing down and standing up into peaks. great session in basically dead calm winds late afternoon. This is a great pattern we are in with these ocean storms that take low tracks out to sea and move slow enough to kick back swell.
When I checked the buoy ealier, it was a 20 second period, some good looking waves once tide went out. It was deep early when I had my window.
This makes all the bs here worth it. Occasionally if you pay attention some knowledge gets spewed out.
Yeah. I was going to predict the same thing one day back in mid feb, but I went to the boob tread and got sidetracked.
Let us not forget--I predicted that all of you are morons. And I have been repeatedly shown to be 100% correct. Thank you.
Looking at another big Northeast Groundswell next week Wednesday. I may be able to take a surf day DP. Keep you posted. Check out the forecast.
It's Holy Week Sigs, Wayne's deity will deliver. All hail Hay Zeus! or is it Dr. Seuss? Religion is so confusing...
