Elaborate please, you lost me on this one. I mean it's no lis fish but 6' is right in the range for twins for me at 6'1" 200+lbs. Don't get me wrong, quads are great. I'm glassing on fins and it's significantly more work and less margin for error.

Maybe you can go to DE and have surfers do step-offs from it??

Yup cedar deck, walnut rails. Cut the deck out tonight. I got well trained lofting the curves along the rails. Not planning on any airs with this board.

I was looking at it with some spare fins. 2+1 looked good. Twinzer looked good too.

When you’re talking about twingles, do you mean this stuff Neal Purchase Jr is doing where it looks like two single fins?

I would go twin keel fish. Depends on what type of wave you plan on riding. I love my twin keel on booming point surf. It's 6'5" and 3 inches thick.

Hey quick question, are you going to put woods on the top of it? Just wanted to check because if you don't you could get waters on the inside.

Just personal preference. I know guys 6’1” 215 range surfing 5’4” twinnys. I feel a quad is going to be more versatile, have better hold, more drive, and keep that thing going the way you want... I love twin setups but I feel they are squirly (which I like). And on a bigger wooden board that’s not an attribute I would like. I also don’t really surf any boards over 6ft... not that I can’t or haven’t just don’t like the inconvenience of getting longer boards in my car...

Yknow the thing with woodies is the weight ,its different with different build styles , i think right now the combination of eps core and balsa skins is probably one of the lightest strongest combinations, old school balsa were solid planks and sometimes chambered but heavy, hollows on other hand can be about as light as a polyester pu foam board if yu use balsa and paulownia combo
