I'm with you on the shark tide watch- I have had mine for at least 8yrs. Had to replace the band once. and just the other day, had to replace the battery for maybe the third time in its life... still water proof too

 

Beginning with my time in the Navy, I wear a watch all the time except when asleep. G-Shocks have served me well.
Have to on account of work, family, appointments, and trying to squeeze in surfing or running time. Most kids (and many adults) nowadays don't wear 'em. Heads are buried in their phones.

 

G-Shock...yup, of the modern sports/tide/digital watches, they are my favorites as well. They endure, so far!

lol...mine is actually a Nixon i found for 50$ on interwebs, but not a mssion, just the tide watch. getting new battery and crystal casing now for 12$. if was totally broken they would've replaced with new 100$ model. imo that's worth the 50$ but could never spend 100$ on a watch unless the company would just replace with no cost.
