You are right, it is childish, no argument there. But I keep it in context with why he said what he said. He loves the people in the military, has high respect for them and their sacrifice. Taking that comment and applying it to all POW’s isn’t fair, he just wanted to hit McCain back is all. But I see your point.

I've found that when others take the low road, my results are much more successful when I take the high road.

No disrespect Kid, because I like you, but I could find posts right on this here website where you did not practice what you are preaching here. Just sayin, we’ve all lashed out at one time or another, his is just more public.

This is where you lose me. I can understand supporting him and his policies. I feel the same way about some of them.

But for you to say what DJT loves and doesn't love like you know him is kinda ridiculous. I'm not implying that DJT doesn't love the military or have respect for them. It would be just as ridiculous is I said he hates the military and POWs

Ok, it is my belief that he loves the people of the military. I have no reason to believe otherwise. That comment about McCain doesn’t change how I feel about that. I see it as two dudes throwing insults. Nothing more. Whether he does or does not is only something he can truly know but my feeling based on what I have seen is that he does.

Just saying that that is why his insults get so much publicity.

Right, I understand that. Being on Twatter increases exposure. Being President does too, anything he says whether it’s on Twatter or at a Press Conference, it will be blown out of proportion.

But if he didn't tweet out the comments nobody would know them. They'd just be thoughts

It's not blowing it out of proportion if its a direct quote. He's looking to get as much exposure out of it as possible or else he wouldn't tweet...

It’s blowing it out of proportion when people get all fake outraged because he somehow offended them. Too many people claiming moral high ground on this guy, but I would be willing to bet most of those people have just as many, if not more flaws in their own life.

Lots of people do/say things at home that they'd get fired for doing at work...

Yep, that includes you and me. We are all fallable human beings. My point is people shouldn’t be so judgmental all the time. We all have our flaws, all of us.

I agree that everyone has flaws... But my point is that if you or I showed the same poor behavior at work over and over againe we would be fired.

Never said that I do it all the time. Only said that I find much more success that way. And I stand by it.

And, I'm not the president nor am I any longer a public servant.

When I was still responsible for my actions to my superiors or the general public, I never said anything that could come back to bite me on the ass in any type of public forum.

Example of "low road": "Leaking liar Comey" repeatedly on Twitter

Example of "high road": "Mr. Comet would do well to check the skeletons in his own closet", or even better, "I'm sure the investigation will eventually uncover the truth in my favor".

This is why nobody hires freewheelers and loose cannons to run multi billion dollar corporations. It's risky and unstable.

Americans will have their chance to fire him come election time if that's what they want to do. Those that don't care about the petty stuff, we will vote for him again because we care more about the policies that are shaping this country than we do about the optics of the President's personality.
