    I want to hit like of the conditions today, but that would be wrong. Woke up this morning to check cams before heading out and depressingly flat. Then the fucast went from bump to flat all week. my oldest is starting to get into as well, I am letting him find his way to it, finally this year you could see the light bulb go off and he's asking every week when we can go. Hope he keeps it up

    northeastern Gulf of Mexico is producing widespread cloudiness,
    showers, and thunderstorms across much of Florida, southeastern
    Georgia and a good portion of the Bahamas. This system has not
    become any better organized since yesterday and conditions are
    becoming even less favorable for subtropical or tropical cyclone
    formation. This system, however, will continue to produce locally
    heavy rainfall and possible flash flooding across portions of
    Florida and the southeastern United States during the next few days
    while the low moves generally northward. For more information on

    office. The next Special Tropical Weather Outlook on this system
    will be issued by 9 AM EDT on Wednesday.

    “Abundant dry air plowing in from the west has been evaporating attempts at establishing a coherent subtropical to tropical cyclone out of this one. While slightly more aligned than 24 hours ago, the system remains elongated, with occasional weak vortices rotating around the barely closed off low. NHC now at 10% within 48 hours, as in addition to all of the aforementioned dry air, shear has been going up - and ocean space left to travel before moving inland is going down. “—-flhurricane.com

    I was gonna surf after work but lightning was bad. It’s chilled out now but not much time left before dark so I will wait till the morning. Better tide anyways.

    I got the Florida radar pulled up right now, I'm a real nerd when it comes to maps and the like. Daytona/Ormond is getting fuct right now, like we are up here. This particular band isn't as long as the one up here is right now, but there's others behind. Tampa looks like it just got pounded. There's a big one over Fort Lauderdale right now. It's a mess on the radar down there, with all those reds and oranges on the radar.

    Sounds about right, it’s off and on all day. It was pretty bad earlier but I was working.

    Haha I just now realized your Right Coasters comment. I always joked on here about the lack of West Coast (or anywhere not on the East Coast of the US) posters was due to the fact that the people that are in surf heavy/consistent regions are too busy surfing to be posting on an internet forum.:D

    Thunderstorms are back, make it stop! It was nice being able to get some surf this morning, glad it held off till late morning at least.
