I think it’s just the carrot and stick being used here. Trump dangles the carrot of economic prosperity and safety / security while Bolton holds the stick and says we’ll do like we did in Lybia. Good cop / bad cop. You have to have a credible threat of military force in order for diplomacy to be effective with deez guyz.

But FWIW, I actually agree with you on this one. The Little Yellow Dude is most likely putting on a temporary show to win some political concessions, much like his daddy did repeatedly over the decades.

Peace would be great, but I won't believe any of this until the ink hits the paper. Trump should probably pump the brakes a bit on this one.

My wife does the same thing, especially with latinos. She uses some kind of hybrid Spanish/Eastern Euro accent. It's embarrassing, but so funny. My daughter and I crack up and mock her when she does it in front of us. She also uses lots of hand gestures, which only adds to the comedy.

 

Anytime you start a treadde on a POLITICAL situation on a surf predictin forum, you gotta expect this and don't be all get off my lawn. I thought it was funny, totally nonconstructive, and a fine example of partisan bs.

 

The person I was responding to has never posted in a surf related thread and posts the most annoying partisan garbage. I'm going to call that loser out every time he replies to one of my posts.
