Unfortunately, you could not name them all. Which is the point. CIA could name 12 at any point. Individual cases will and should continue I guess. The level of espionage by the Russians has and will continue to be a big deal.

I like your gift wrapping analogy...the DNC gave them some scars last cycle too.

I wonder how nasty the upcoming midterms will be? I predict hysteria. The SCOTUS approval will be a circus as well. What a fine democracy we live in...

I'm tired of all the crying and bitching form both sides so I've decided I'm running for President in 2020. This post is my formal announcement. My slogan is "Orwell's Coming For You!" If elected, there will be no pictures of me, I will not be on any social media, I will not be seen giving any press conferences. I will just be an angry booming voice that you will hear thrice daily telling you what do to. Jack-booted thugs will enforce my draconian laws. My first order of business will be to crank up War Pigs by Sabbath and then proceed to launch a massive nuclear attack on pretty much everybody that does not have a tropical, surf-able coastline. This way, there is no more arguing over the economy, illegals, gun control, the environment. Foreign affairs will no longer be an issue because there be no more foreign countries left to have affairs with. I will then retire to my bunker that will be fashioned in the typical evil dictator, 1960's Bond villain stylee. Fully stocked with Bourbon, buds, and, of course, a harem of gorgeous 20-something Asian girls.
For you all, your gonna have to fight it out Road Warrior style to get into the lair. Exception is if you bring two Asian women with you to the door. Just think you guys get to do whatever you want! You can have the Kardasians chained up in your basement! It's allowed! You can make MSM media talking heads plow your fields like a common mule. It's allowed! That neighbor who gets mad when your dog craps on his lawn? Tie him nakid to a tree, pour honey on him, and open up a yellow jacket's nest at his feet. It's allowed! That SUP D-bag at your local break? The possibilities are endless!!! JOIN ME!!!!!

I get your point there, but the obvious reply is, those are the ones we caught. Just like the 12 indicted were caught. Sure there may be 10,000 more ruskies spying out there, but the ones we do catch, get indicted and the charges usually stick. Just as I think these charges will result in sentences.

How does sentencing work with Russia's extradition stance?

I guess my point is that Mueller and team could drill down (as they are doing now) at any point in last 50 years and sniff out 12 "ruskies" to charge...

I think the Mueller special was probably a good idea, I mean, if Trump did collude we should know about it. I just don't want it to digress into a political football that is kept in place to change the landscape.

He couldn't assign blame to Russians in the 70s, 80s and 90s to the 2016 election. The type of espionage used during the election wasn't even conceived in those era. Mueller is investigating interference in 2016 election, saying any ruskie in the past 50 years could be charged is an over statement at the least.

Russia won't extradite them but that is an ancillary point. My point is that the US doesn't toss around espionage indictments for fun. They do it when they have actual evidence and the charges are almost always upheld.

I don't care if Trump colluded with Russia. What I care about is that we are protecting ourselves from outside attack. Wars are not fought in the trenches anymore, they are fought online and we are in a digital war with Russia AND China. They are not our allies.

I am saying that "a mueller team" could have been assembled at any point in the last 50 years and "that" team (given the resources) could "have" identified 12 ruskies at "that" point in time.

These 12 wouldn't have been identified (probable) if the Mueller team was not assembled...certainly not if Hillary was elected (why did Obama ignore it?).

I care if Trump colluded with Russia.

Cyber warfare is an issue of the 21st century, which we can talk about. I think our CIA and FBI are doing all that they can to avoid an attack. The Mueller probe will do nothing to stop this threat. Trump walked into that meeting knowing very well that Russia is not a friend.

I think the $$$ trail is what is taking this investigation so long. Trump never even released his tax returns, so you can only imagine what it takes to wring any real facts from banks, business deals etc that will prove he is a bought stooge of the Russian oligarchs.

The Watergate investigation took a few years, so did Starr's Monica Lewinsky probe. So we are in this for a while. Some one close to Trump (Cohen?, Manafort? Ivanka?) will flip. Then it will get really juicy.

    Patience folks.

    All Hail Chavez!!!

The fact everybody seems to leave out or forget is that Obama was warned by the intel community that the Russians were doing this and Obama did NOTHING about it. If this was such a huge deal why didn’t Obama do anything about it? He told Putin to “knock it off” right? Lmao nah, he let it happen.

You are probably right SIS. I wonder if the CIA/FBI/ and/or Mueller team have seen his tax returns.

Do you think the Clinton Foundation should be given same scrutiny?

Ok well he isn't president anymore so how does that help us from stopping it in the future. Can't charge Obama with "doing nothing". We can charge Trump with collusion if the investigation turns up something. Doing nothing against Russia and actively working with Russia are two very different things....IF that does turn out to be the case.

Good ole DP, never miss a chance to take a shot at Barry O. (and of course, I defend him lol)

Good point, a lot of Republicans and Trump complaining about how much Mueller investigation costs and it's dragging on. Forgetting Ken Starr investigation started in '94 with him looking into ethics violations with Whitewater, then 4 years later, in '98 he finally found something, Lewinsky. Which had nothing to do with his original cause for investigation. Oh and it cost the taxpayer almost $70 million.

I'd say Mr. Mueller is doing a pretty good job compared to Ken Starr, who was praised by Republicans for his work. In half the time and 1/3 of the costs he already has numerous indictments that are actually within the scope of his cause for investigation.

Funny how 20 years clouds the memory for Republicans so much.

deserves a lot more than some scrutiny....

Biggest mistake Obama made was putting a Clinton in his cabinet.

I’m not taking a shot at your boy. I’m just stating the facts. If he let it happen then you have to ask why. The answer leads you to the bigger crime, the conspiracy involving the DNC, Obama Admin, Justice Department, FBI, CIA, etc., the plan to “STOP HIM”, “like an insurance policy in the unlikely event you die before your 40”.

Oh and “collusion” isn’t a crime, so it’s really not something you can charge him with. It’s impeachable however if caught. That’s what this has been about all along.
