More knee - thigh glassy lines. Lots of short rides on the LB tonight. There was one set in 2hrs that might have been waist high and I got one of the waves in that set and it was pretty fun.

 

Sorry, MrB'worth... that sucks.

On a happier note... surfed a couple hours today and got it fun and solo on the fish. Again. Just me an 600 cow noses... the water's been thick with them every day for weeks.

Gonna have to change things up next session. Maybe a different spot. Maybe a different board. Maybe I'll surf nekked.

 

Sorry to hear about your partner, I hate it when the good guys lose. I think you should start a thread on it when you feel it is appropriate.

This thread is probably the worst place to go off topic, it's really the only real "sacred" thread we've got here that doesn't get totally and completely shit on. Many of us have made the same mistake and we get gently reminded.

But yeah, I scored some really fun surf yesterday lol

So now, how bout it never happened lol and I’ve got to say I’m happy to read about all your exploits and greats surfing! Now STOP HOGGING ALL THE DAM WAVES AND SEND SOME UP HERE!!!!

I hit the refresh button about 57 times in a row just to see if it’s a long interval between being as flat as Nancy pelosis ass and any set waves ... killing me!

 

Summer AM sesh before work yesterday. Water about 80 and smelling a bit fishy from bait fish activity. Pelicans, dolphin, and osprey having their breakfast.
I enjoy hearing the National Anthem at 8AM from the Dam Neck base while out on the water.

 

June 5th from cam. The water was a mess but I actually caught 4 good rides on my smaller boart... paddling was a bitch though. I’m the little speck in the trough - June 6th. ... these were the last time I did a multiple session week OR had anything over waist high/chest high. Seriously. I’m hoping it gets like last year though, we got spoiled all the way to December 23rd!

 

There's some waist high glassy lines coming in this morning perfect for the LB. It was a mix of lefts and rights. The lefts were longer and had a better shoulder to them. Several swooping bottom top bottom top turns with a nice kick out at the end. Smooth as butter...

 

Surfed some small rights yesterday that were coming out like a well oiled machine, quite literally... It was disgusting and I may die from the contamination, but it was worth it. Awesome sunset yesterday too. One of my favorite parts of surfing is all the radical views we get to see.

 

Hell yeah man. Not to bring it up again, but my friend who just passed would always say that. Ehhh i thought it'd be bigger/cleaner... whatever. "Yeah, but who cares? Look at that sunrise". The waves are just a bonus sometimes.

Got a fun sesh in this morning. Similar size to yesterday, sets at about waist high. Clean. Quite racey though. A few gems that would slow a bit to allow for a solid turn. Or if ot didn't atleast you had all the speed in the world to hit the end section with. Some were just straight pump pump pump and fllllllllllyyyyyy to the end. Tried pulling into some mini barrels. I don't know why i try for barrels on waves so small it's impossible to fit in there. But hey, i enjoy doing it.

New guy, mr. Somthingorother. Take that trip down to LI man. It's not pumping but there's a fun little wave to be had. All you need is a light north wind, atleast a 2ft swell, don't worry about tides.... the spot works regardless. I'll show you around.

3-5' this am at my local, semi-clean, nice walls if a little inconsistent, 2 guys out. Tried out the new 6-10" after I got all the way down there and found I'd forgotten the leash...
rode and paddled pretty good!

 

If I’m a planning man, where would I set up camp on the ‘isle so as to be in your locale? Put it out to my daughter and she’s stoked on the idea.

Been surfing just about every morning for the past 2/3 weeks and it's been pretty much perfect, beautiful mornings. A couple of days where sizable, other just small LB waves... can't complain when your in board shorts!

 

Yeah brother. I was out after work. Surfed both sides, but that right was doing it’s thing. The water was almost black. Also just as a word of caution, I came out exetremely itchy. Symptoms subsided after a shower, but it was kinda gnarly. Fun waves ahead (hopefully)!

 

Like bangin that dirty girl from the bar... made you itchy but your already looking forward to more lolol
