While I think that the special council should and will follow all leads, including those that lead to trump, I don't think that nailing trump is his primary objective.

The opposing media narratives have muddled this story so much.

You're still ignoring the point. If Obama were in the same spot you would not be so eager to brush it off.

Not saying definitively Trump colluded with Russia directly, but when you National Security Adviser is lying to the FBI, an investigation into the rest of your campaign isn't a ridiculous notion.

Tell me how many other presidents have had the same happen to a high ranking member of their administration. I'll wait. My guess is if any others have, they didn't go down as a great president.

    I agree.

And if the Special Counsel has irrefutable fact that Trump directly colluded with the Russians to affect the outcome of the election, then he should be charged and brought up for impeachment.

Collusion is and of itself not a statute; however, it is a huge ethics violation and could be prosecutable provided that the elements of any statutes have been broken.

It's only fair. If this were happening with anybody else, I would feel the same way.

Kyle, you had me up until this point.

Who exactly gets to choose who was a "great president"? The media constantly touts what a "great president" Kennedy was, and he was a straight up lying womanizing clown who was around long enough for a cup of coffee.

    Among others, lol

I coluded with a shady charachter recently... I was boozing in NYC. I secrectly called him and told him that if he met me on the corner with a special package I'd give him 50 dorrars... The collusion was a success.

See that's where you have me wrong. I am capable of looking at things objectively. If Obama had been in the same situation with the same set of circumstances, I would have the same opinions. I don't look at things through a bias lense. Sorry.

What I want to know is who were the spies / informants that they planted in the campaign? You know, to try and set Trump up. I have a hunch it's a couple of the dudes that are "in trouble". They were highly insignificant to the campaign and are being used as pawns in this investigation.

Fair enough P, that is subjective, should have left it out.

this entire conversation is stupid with all due respect. to make a long story short we firstly have zero evidence there was any collusion otherwise here we are two years later still talking about it. also who cares. how many elections across the world has the United States interfered with? More than Russia I can guarantee you that. So even if this happened the only reason the subject wont go away (its annoying at this point) is because 90 percent of the media sources are liberal biased and they want to try to trash any republican any chance they get. its truly pathetic. also why is this a significant event and also again zero evidence. in fact more evidence that the FBI in their findings is a corrupt institution. lets talk about surfing not politics though !

I agree with everything you said except this last sentence. This is our one political thread. I talked about surfing in the surfing thread. Waiting for others to talk about their session. In the mean time this is entertaining toying with Kyle, who wanted me as his nemesis lol I’m just playing Kyle, don’t get defensive.

I still stand by the point that Flynn pleading guilty changed things for me. Once someone that high in your admin is willing to lie to the FBI, I lose trust in the admin. Either your inept at hiring or corrupt. Seems like more of the same swamp to me.

When did you lose faith in the FBI, and what would it take to restore it?

since none of the trump sycophants here want to tackle this tough question i thought it might be good to have paul manafort help clear up trump's position. i know he was only a coffee boy but still.

He was the Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency under Obama, and came highly recommended and respected by many. He very well could be one of the informants that was planted into the campaign.

Or he was forced to retire by Clapper and Obama because they knew he was dirty. You didn't find his sudden forced retirement odd? Then Trump turns around and hired the guy to even a higher position...again either inept at hiring or corrupt.
