No one is upset with him meeting Putin, it is his active denial Russia did any meddling in the 2016 election.

Bally, serious question. Why has Trump been afraid to say Russia was meddling? If he were to openly condemn Russia for this wouldn't it help the optics that he didn't collude? I just don't understand why he continues to dance around the obvious....

He has said they meddled many times before. This one was a mistake, but he has been on record many times placing the blame on Putin / Russia. He just did it again too.

My guess is he didn’t want to publically shame him to his face in front of the world when they just sat for 2hrs and negotiated deals.

He needs him to play ball on certain things. Putin just got done denying it to Trump so if he had gone on the podium and called him on it, it would have jeopardized any deal they may have made.

Idk I’m just guessing, Trump is all about deal making so he doesn’t want to jeopardize losing one over saying the wrong thing. Back home he says it no problem though.

Show me a footage of him outright blaming Russia. I would argue he has been on the record MORE saying it "could have been anyone" or "it could be some 400lb guy in his basement".

He has had plenty of time to agree with ALL OF OUR INTEL AGENCIES and condemn Russia, but I can't find any footage until this past week and even that was a half assed attempt at blaming them.

 

Not sure either, a bit confusing. As a Trumper I live and die with his off the cuff thinking. He probably liked his meeting with Putin and didnt want to say something that would ruin it. It would have been easy for Trump to say something that would appease the whole meddling nonsense. Like "hey we meddle in their elections, they meddle in ours as well as China, Iran, Iraq and so on. We all fukin do it!" That would have gone over well.

 

Plenty of people are “speaking out” but still support him. It’s possible to not like everything someone does but still support them. Kinda like a marriage or a good friendship. You can overlook the flaws because you love everything else about them and the positive outweighs the negative.

 

There are many interviews he has given or press conferences where he says it was Russia, and yes, usually he goes on to say others do it too, but that's because it's true! We do it, China does it, Iran, North Korea, the list goes on. It's not uncommon, it's just being politicized this time! I'm pretty sure he's seen evidence of other countries doing it and doesn't want to single Russia out. China is by far the worst and it's not even being talked about, because everybody has a hard on for Russia suddenly. Everybody was fine with them under Obama, now they want Nuclear f'ng war it seems. They are playing with fire. Keep poking the bear and one of these times he's going to wake up and do something about it.

 

Just curious... How do you know China is by far the worst? I'm not saying they are not or anything, but how do you know. I hear a lot about people being brainwashed to believe what the MSM tells them and it would seem to me that this is similar.

 

You're right, I haven't conducted my own investigation or anything, I'm going based on everything I have read or heard but from multiple sources and from both sides of the isle. I didn't think that was really much of a debate.
