try rolling over the charts to see swell height/wind/etc. i'm speaking on behalf of everyone i know, btw
this stuff isn't my opinion. Test on different iphone versions, test on different browsers, etc. ... just test - site reeks of amateurism...did someone recently purchase the site or what? what happened to the previous devs?
i'm glad that your phone is in good condition @dawnpatrol1187 but be honest, the site is in need of some serious work to improve functionality
ok...not trying to fight you. I am a user. I have been a user of the site for years. Many friends are users. Everyone i have spoken to is baffled by the changes. Some of us even run software companies to support ourselves so we are not blind. The concerns i have raised are legit.
Nobody is fighting here, just telling you it’s working on Safari for me. Why it wouldn’t be for you IDK. Have you been keeping up with your iOS software updates? Check and see if one is available. Maybe try a different browser like Puffin or Chrome.
Hay Dog I think just about everyone here felt the same way when it was first rolled out. This has been ongoing for about a month. The more you delve into it the more you will start to appreciate the changes (the changes were mainly made to improve mobile compatibility) They are still refining/ fine tuning it.. What are your specific concerns??
Also, a bit of a hidden feature, if you click/touch the image, it will black out the outside elements, so only to show a better view of the photo.
Bug Fix... In firefox, the surf timeline was not scrollable. This was a small issue in our code, and this has been corrected. I think some users had complained about the timeline graph, and this was missed, because only a small percentage of users use Firefox. I'm definitely glad it was brought to our attention, and should be working now.
Bug fix for GFS/NAM wind map times... The time showing was in GMT time, instead of local time. This is now fixed.
I still say it's fine on my phone, not great but usable. It's terrible on my iPad and I almost never check in anymore especially the forum when I used to check in daily at least.
Still better than surfbribe will ever be. I feel bad for those who pay for just the name and inaccurate forecast they provide.
Can you help me understand the difference you are having on the phone compared to your iPad? The experience should be pretty much the same, and if anything, it should be easier to navigate on the bigger screen, so I'm not sure what problems you are having? If you could be more specific, I can look into things further. Thanks.
