Stoked on July. July is usually a terrible month in the Mid Atlantic. I’d have to say this is the best July I can remember. We could pretty much Surf every day this month, and the amount of decent Surf days is pretty darn good for any time of the year. August is usually hit or miss depending on if we see some early season tropical action. Sometimes August can be the flatest month, so we’ll see. Fingers crossed, these little systems continue.
Yeah...this week seals it. starting with that sick Friday before 4th of July weekend, two day Chris swell, plenty of other waist high days, and now 5th day in a row of waist to shoulder high waves all with fair good winds and mid 70s water. Scored two fun sessions today both in Delaware....DP at a rare spot that was working at dead high tide, this afternoon on low incoming where we just walked away from the crowd, found an empty peak (empty meaning empty of people who could surf, not empty of swimmers and kooks) and started splitting chest high peaks with an old friend late afternoon with no wind. Very stoked very sore.
Lots and lots and lots of junk waves here in Jerz. The cleanup windows have been short, or just bad timing for me. But it's still been fun... and the decks on my boards are proof!
Same here...lots of waves and a few decent/good windows! I’ve been on the two board mission, as conditions demand.
