So you're saying if the Mueller team comes across evidence of crimes while investigating Manafort that aren't within the scope of their particular investigation, they should just ignore them?

Manafort was under investigation in 2014 by the FBI if I recall correctly. All Trump or Conway had to do in the interview was ask "have you ever been under FBI or any other tyoe of investigation?" Seems like something you would ask someone that is going to run your presidential campaign, just sayin. Then if he lies and says no, you have plausible deniability. I don't recall Trump ever claiming Manafort lied to him, in fact, he has been steadily praising him for his loyalty. Very strange to me.
