Because they were under the illusion that they were still in power. They thought for sure that Trump would have gotten impeached or at the very least would have undermined his presidency to the point that he would not be able to flush them out.

well the repubs now have all 3 branches of gov't covered. Maybe they
    Very strange.

It doesn't take balls to do someone a solid and let them know they have crumb on their face after lunch or TP on their shoe. It's really just common courtesy.

Now on the other hand, if that person is a dick, I'll let that sumbitch go the whole day without saying a thing.

Better hope things go your way next month. If R's lose the House, the past 2 years is going to look tame compared to how crazy the Dems will get with investigative power.

The Dems may precipitate a constitutional crisis if they get their rat filth paws on the reins again & subsequently subvert the entire shootin' match with their Stalin-esque false 'investigations.' Worst case scenario? Civil War. You think I am joking. I am not joking.

What's bizarre about the whole thing is that if you were to line up the accomplishments of this administration vis a vis the previous administration, without naming names as to whose administration did what, it's not even close.

The problem is that the Dems suffer acutely & terminally from Trump Derangement / Barack Hussein is cool syndrome. Whereas although many Repubs believed Barack Hussein was merely a foil for the Islamic world, got played by the Russians, auuthorized the IRS to aggressively audit Repub entities, authorized the NSA, FBI & CIA to massively increase their covert monitoring of Americans, enacted feeble complicated health care mandates, betrayed the USA in Libya & Israel, and continued a useless war long past his promised end date, the same Repubs who disagreed with Barack Hussein didn't riot, burn vehicles, destroy property, threaten civil servants with physical harm, et. al.

The Repubs waited & they voted. Dems want no such nonsense. It's their way or destruction.

I believe that no matter who wins the mids, and the 2020, the level of violence from the left will reach new & very harsh levels. This time, the Repubs won't take that. Ergo, possible civil war.
