I think a lot of what Obama said there was true and needed to be said, just as a lot of what Trump says can be hard to hear but some of it needs to be said. It is hard to argue W didn't leave BO in about as bad of a place possible. Markets tanking, a war on two fronts, and climbing debt. BO called him on it just as Trump has called BO on the issues he had to inherit. This is common practice NY.

Trump just made it personal with Obama beyond what any previous president has ever done to the guy he is replacing, before even running for office. BO never tried to completely delegitimize George W's whole presidency by claiming he was an immigrant or not even allowed to be POTUS. That is next level shit there.

As far as staying in DC, he is 57. Of course he is going to stay involved in politics, he would be stupid not to. Bill and Hilary did the same thing, they just did it from NY and eventually got back to DC. W went to Texas because the Republican party wanted nothing to do with him, same with his dad. Reagan was too old and his mind was gone to matter so he went back to California. Making a mountain out of a molehill imho, highly doubt he stays past 2020.

 

Which is why Trump served his country honorably in the military when called upon to do so...oh wait, I forgot, bone-spurs.

B.O. never served in the military either. Who cares? One does not have to serve in the military to prove they are a patriot and love their country.

 

Sad day. The Trump-death-battle-of-nothingness-featuring-regurgitated-ideas-cartoons-and-mostly-fake-internet-news-stories thread has overtaken a thread with hot girls in bikinis and other very small clothing items.

To say that another way: We've lost our minds and our balls. I formally vow to never return to this god awful thread. Before I leave I have one thought to share, which is this:

Better think for yourself because both sides want you to believe and regurgitate the franchised thought they cook up. Independent, critical thinkers made this country. The lack of them might destroy it.
