Someone's Mickey Mouse wristwatch stopped on August 12, 2017. Didn't CCR do a song about being stuck in Charlottesville? Oh wait, that was Lodi.

1st Let me say, I am no fan of the Saudi’s. I’m leery of the entire Middle East. That said, you and I both know that Trump does not love the Saudi’s, nor is there a love affair.

To compare his strategy to defeat Iran’s leadership and get new leadership in power to Obama’s love affair with Iran is ridiculous. Not even remotely close. Trump knows that the Saudi’s and Iranian’s are not friends. It’s all part of the strategy.

He also knows that if he doesn’t sell the weapons and defense systems to the Saudi’s they’ll just buy them from our competitors. We’re not the only game in town. It’s the largest sale in history if I’m not mistaken. That’s a lot of money and jobs that comes into our Country, not the other way around. Strong economy funds a strong military, which puts our Country in a position of strength, not weakness.

He’s not flying planes full of CASH, dirty filthy ransome and apology cash. Cash used to fund and sponsor terrorism, that in turn murders our solidiers and civilians around the world. No, that was B.O., the first Muslim POTUS.

All that being said. I do not trust the Saudi’s. I think the hope was that the new leadership was going to be more moderate and early dealings proved this to be true. But there are now questions about that, rightfully so. But we still don’t know what happened with Khashoggi, and I wouldn’t jump to any conclusions there. Lots of finger pointing and covering up going on. Will we ever really know the truth? Something else to consider...

Turkey’s Erdogan could have had something to do with it. I’m sure he would love nothing more than to get between the US and Saudi “alliance”, and weaken the Middle East. Right now, it’s on lock down with what Trump has done with his policies and empowering the Saudi’s and the Jews.

Trump wants to bring a stop to the fighting, to do that he has to reduce Iran’s ability to spread terrorism across the region, making it unstable. It has to happen in order to make the ultimate deal, which is peace in the Middle East. If he can get them all to play ball, then that can be a real possibility.

You have to remember who Trump really is. He’s a deal maker. He pride’s himself on “The art of the deal”. So his end game or strategy is to get the deal to end the never ending fighting in the Middle East. If he pulls that off, he will without a doubt go down as the greatest deal maker, negotiator, and yes, POTUS of all time.

Now, is that all going to happen? I don’t know. But it’s worth a try. And if he succeeds. We will all be better off. I keep his strategy in mind when evaluating his decisions. He has goals and wants to win at all costs. Winning = good things for the USA. Sometimes you have to read between the lines when he does something questionable. And believe me, I understand the questions on the Saudi’s. But just remember they are buying from us, not the other way around. We still have the upper hand, and always will.

What’s your point here? You are taking his comment that “there were fine people on both sides” out of context. He wasn’t saying that the racists are fine people. Not everybody that was there on the right was part of the group of racists if I’m not mistaken.

Correct me if I’m wrong but there were regular people, non-racists who were also there protesting the taking down of the monument. But it’s easy to spin that comment to say he was calling the racists fine people. That’s how the MSM and liberals / socialists sells it.

He was also making a point that many on the left and ANTIFA showed up looking for a fight and are no better than the far right doing the same. Trump has said numerous times he condemns all kinds of racism. I don’t know what else he has to say before people will accept it.

"Those engaged in the political arena must stop treating political opponents as being morally defective. The language of moral condemnation ... these are arguments and disagreements that have to stop. No one should carelessly compare political opponents to historical villians. It's got to stop. We should not mob people in public spaces or destroy public property.”

"There is one way to settle our disagreements: It's called peacefully, at the ballot box,"

"The media also has a responsibility to set a civil tone and stop the endless hostility and constant negative and oftentimes false attacks.”

The more the libs/lefties whine, fuss, blame, jump up and down, and stomp their feet in rage and self righteous indignation the less credible they become. It's gotten to the point that there are few limitations how far they will go to attempt getting their way.

Despite all this, I really did not want to think that with the approaching elections this bombing scare was a desperate stunt pulled by far left zealots. But it sure smells like it. Of course, it was only a matter of minutes before the media put an anti-Trump spin on it.

Again, with the mid-term elections coming up, the 1,000-plus horde of Central American aliens illegally traveling through Mexico and approaching the US border to find "asylum" here reeks of a lib-orchestrated effort.

My nephew attends George Mason University in No.VA. It is a very liberal school and campus environment compared to, say, VA Tech where my daughter went.
GMU has a very diverse student body with many foreigners. What is seriously lacking, however, is tolerance and acceptance of others including fellow students who have more conservative/traditional moral values and political beliefs.
Cars with Trump or Republican stickers are vandalized, and students are verbally and sometimes physically harassed if their beliefs are not in compliance with the liberal agenda. It's almost a Nazi-esque state.

Careful, NYNJ will tell you that only happens on the News. It’s not real life. It’s all made up by the TV.

This ^^ is correct. I happen to live in the county that DosXX refers to. Put any Republican sticker for any candidate on your rig & you will have your window smashed and / or paint keyed in less than 24 hours.

These are not the dressed-in-black, balaclava-sporting Antifa asshats. These are 'regular' Democrats, people who live & work here. It's definitely a violent, fascist region here & the people calling themselves Dems here are totally intolerant of any opinions other than theirs.

Yah, my error; I realized that you were flaming at DP & deleted my post. At least I admit when I'm in error. Something you Dem floggers don't consider part of the toolkit.

Have some sugar with your brekky rage, bud.

Where's the shooting of the Republicans on the ballfield in Alexandria?
    Where's the Antifa asshats?
Where's the Dem attacks on Republicans in restaurants?
Where's the Dem discrimination against anyone Republican or Conservative in restaurants & other venues?
    et. al.

No rage here dude... Dem flogger? I don’t know how many times I can say this. I am not a dem... that’s something you Trump Humpers don’t seem to get. You don’t need to love or believe everything your supreme leader feeds you.
I’ve said countless times I like what he’s doing for business and the market likes him, so I’m ok with the way things are... but if I question something I’m a “dem flogger” or a liberal.

As a Trump guy you need to start tuning into his almost daily rallies. They are all about division, anger, name calling, and 'they are coming to get us' -> https://twitter.com/twitter/statuses/1024467940257738752

It's no wonder after calling the free press 'the enemy of the American people', that some conservative whack jobs are now following his advice.

Typical MSM talking point. Do you have any thoughts of your own or are they all borrowed from your favorite talking heads?

The MSM has been one of the most divisive group of people since Trump announced he was running for President. They lie to you regularly so that you won’t support him. How on earth you and others on the left can’t see this is beyond me. It’s so obvious!

Trump is right, until they clean up their act and report in a fair and balanced manner, then they ARE the enemy of the people. You can’t have 90+ % negative coverage and straight up daily attacks on the President and his supporters and expect people to be ok with it.

It’s one thing to disagree with his policies, but it’s another to go after him and his family, his supporters, by telling lie after lie, corrupting the easily manipulated minds into believing he’s the next Hitler. It’s dangerous, it’s irresponsible, and it’s what has caused much of the negative environment that you are seeing today.

Trump is allowed to defend himself against such slander, and he is allowed to tell the uncensored truth about these people. If they would be fair and balanced he would change his tune and be more friendly toward them.

Despite all that, he still gives them interviews and he still gives them more access than any other president in history.

The MSM is a big reason that I ended up voting for Trump. I had not decided to vote until I saw what they were doing. It was so repulsive that they pushed me into giving him a chance. I knew I wasn’t voting for Hillary, but I was undecided on Trump, but they pretty much sealed the deal for me. Once I realized what was going on, I went back and listened to his rallies and turns out I agreed with much of what he said.

Oh, and I have been to a Trump rally before. It was nothing but positive vibes and a good time. It was all good stuff. I walked away feeling uplifted and hopeful for the future.
