Although it took the death of a former President, it was nice to see our leaders and much of the media on their good behavior yesterday. I watched the memorial service for GHW Bush, and those great eulogies brought a few tears to my eyes.
Watching W's eulogy, it was touching. W honored his father, the rest of the room honored a past President. It's heart rending to bury one's father - - changes one's perspective on a whole lot of things, makes one a lot more empathetic & frankly puts a hole in your soul that never fully heals. W shared his agony with us yesterday. Rough stuff - - any man who's had to bury his father knows exactly what W is going through.
Yes, and politics aside. I believe he was a genuinely good human being. I think it was a great display of what our Country should be about. The whole thing was well orchestrated and classy. Well done. RIP 41.
Yes, each and every single American President needs to be properly honored for they have performed the most difficult and stressful job in the world. even Nixon.
I did not say "anything new"; I said "different" in my post. You are putting words in my mouth, or at least, trying to.....<grin>...damn liberals....
Again....I never said anywhere I am a "conservative". Assumption. And I also never said I am "liberal" either. Assumption. And, I never said I am "different", only that Trumperino claims to be.
I never said you were conservative or liberal. I said you were acting liberal by celebrating Trump being different. This has devolved into a stupid semantics debate.
Chief of Staff Job...anyone?...anyone??? Perks: - Pre-fitted ankle bracelet. - Million dollar 'tell all' book deal following firing by tweet from Trump.
