Firewires are pretty plain, which is fine by me, but i figure i can give it some ink and get my fix since i don't have any real tattoos. What is the best method? Spray? Markers? Anyone ever do it?

i found this site, this guy makes some bad ass paintings and has a how to video

Sure. Well im pretty sure i did something wrong of my last paint job. I spray painted my 5'10 like this [IMG] and i just regular spray paint and i put 2 layers of clear coat over it. but i can still scratch it off and its really heavy, and it has a weird texture. is it better to do spray jobs in certain temperatures?

In your case it depends of what kind of paint job you want. spray paint might be easier. Idk apparently i kind of suck at it

its probally scratching off cause of your prep work prior to painting. I scuff a board with a green scotch bright pad and they wipe it donw with Rubbing alcohol or acitone and usually makes a good bond between the surface and the paint.

Far as it having a texure it could be fish eyeing for maybe giving it a second coat while it a still tacky.

Alot of varialbles come to play when you play with paint

well firewires are pretty plain and since i want something meaningful on it rather than flaming skulls, i contacted a friend who is in graphic arts and design. he drew some really great tatoos for himself that have a tribal look but if you look closely its actually the names of his wife and kids. I asked him to do the same for mine. I;m going to project his on a wall and copy the outline then create a template. we'll see how it goes.

the good thing about it scratching off is that if your not happy with it you can take it off.
