Tesla paid back their loan with interest within 5 years and is the leading electric car maker in the world. Another great American company to add to the economy and another example of American innovation leading the world. I would call that one a win for Barry.

In yet another blatant attack on science, a newly-approved education guideline in the United Kingdom says that all genders can menstruate, not just girls.

The new guidelines from the Neighbourhoods, Inclusion, Communities, and Equalities Committee of the Brighton & Hove City Council advocate a "period positive approach" when talking about menstruation to students, an approach that basically teaches children the exact opposite of what actually happens, according to LifeSiteNews.

Does that change any of the facts I stated? Didn't know owning a car altered reality.

It was a nice try for a gotcha moment DP

Female tennis great, feminist, and gay rights activist Martina Navratilova may have just compromised her status as an LGBTQ icon with a Tuesday evening tweet. Navratilova criticized current transgender policies in sports, stating “you can’t just proclaim yourself a female and be able to compete against women.”

Well Martina, somebody should have told you that you can’t just proclaim such common sense on social media.

Navratilova, long considered to be the greatest female tennis player of all time, and one of the “first openly gay sports figures”, engaged in a Twitter debate prompted by BBC Sport writer Alistair Magowan’s article about criticism leveled at trans athletes who compete at a high level.

Magowan posted the article titled Transgender Women in Sport: Are They Really A ‘Threat’ to Female Sport? and captioned it with a tweet lamenting the “100,000 hate messages” received by Cyclist Dr. Rachel McKinnon “since winning her world masters title in October.” The prevailing message that Magowan was pushing is that those who think it’s unfair for men to become women and compete in sports are encumbered by some sort of misunderstanding.

However, tennis star Navratilova, who was once one of the “wokest” high profile figures of her time, was brave enough to confront Magowan’s narrative. She tweeted in response to the BBC article, stating, “Clearly that can’t be right. You can’t just proclaim yourself a female and be able to compete against women. There must be some standards, and having a penis and competing as a woman would not fit that standard…”

Paid back with interest, 2nd largest factory in the world (here in the US) and over 50,000 good paying American jobs. Don't forget those facts.

I am also invested in Tesla. Best car I've ever driven and it isn't even close.

That reminds me, where are the Tesla stock shorters that we enlightening me to their impending doom a couple years ago....(crickets)

    Summary
Wasn't Model 3 production supposed to be soaring now?

Will fleet deals be needed to sustain Model S/X demand?

Will corporate governance issues boost red flags?

As we enter the final two weeks of the year, all eyes are on Tesla (TSLA) as the company approaches the cutoff for some important tax breaks in the US and the Netherlands. While management has guided to production and deliveries in Q4 that should top Q3, this might just mark the peak as headwinds build in 2019.

It's an EV credit but nice spin job. Tesla can't help it the other auto makers in this country are sleeping on the job and letting them dominate the sector.

depends on how you look at it.

all I see are stories about how Tesla is going tits up because that free flow of gov't $$$ has dried up with the end of the previous regime.

They are hemorrhaging billions of dollars every year. Their struggles to put out an electric car for the masses are well documented. What was supposed to be an outlay of 350,000 Model 3's at a base price has become 3000 actual deliveries at over $50,000 each, after almost years of delays (have you even received you're yet Kyle?). Sounds a lot like the Hudson Hawk, and we all know how that turned out.

Yes, Musk is a very bright guy and h as done well with Space X and Tesla. But he's been doing it with the largest portion being gov't grants/welfare/whatever you want to call it. The money has already run out and he, along with all his entrepreneurial adventures, are coming to a screeching halt.

Every single expert in our country agree with this assessment...except Musk, and you Kyle.

Opinion: the money ran out quite a while ago and he's either keeping everything together with smoke and mirrors, or he's letting his good buddy Ponzi run the operation. Either way, he's got a subpoena with his name on it before the end of 2019.

I know you ordered a 3 and supposedly invest in Tesla, so maybe your opinion is a bit jaundiced?

It's funny how a $12 billion dollar farm bailout is ok to save an industry but a tax credit to encourage growth in a new sector is the devil.

While we're discussing facts, you conveniently forgot to mention that they are accelerating their manufacturing of the Model 3 in CHINA. Which is fine, just making sure we're including ALL the facts.

What does what you just said have to do with them paying back the loan? There is no way to look at that. It was paid back in 3 years with the total interest for the life of the loan, so technically didn't cost any of us a dime.

The future of the company is always debatable, just as it is for any major tech player. I could see FB falling apart next year too. Only time will tell with Tesla; but, yes, owning and seeing how much better it is than anything on the market may skew my opinion towards their future. Also, yes the have struggled. When you are doing something that's never been done before, it usually isn't a smooth ride.

And not for nothing, "experts" have been predicting Tesla's demise for almost a decade now....

Nobody is perfect. Your phone is made in China too.

I don't get why root against an American company that is leading a new sector. If electric vehicles are the future, do you want an American company leading the way or the Chinese?

ah yes, the cry of the Lost Lib: "...But but but, Faux News!!!"

The sad irony is how they actually believe that the MSM is giving them the full unadulterated truth.

Which basically puts them in the exact same category of ignorance that they claim about Fox subscribers.

    people gotta eat

not just here in the US, but our worldwide good exports probably dwarf our vehicle exports

and it keeps a large portion of America working. You know, the portion of America that usually wins the electoral college.

    nice try

No, nobody is perfect, you are right about that, which is why I said "it's fine". I'm not rooting against them. Where did you see that in my post? I think it's great what they are doing. I can't speak for all of their business practices as I don't follow them closely enough, but an American who is leading the way is cool with me. I don't know about this whole tunnel thing he's up to, but hey, he smokes pot, so he's cool in my book lol
