I don't think it's the end all be all, just concerning that he's leaving due to opposing views on how to handle things... I know DJT ran on doing certain things, but he also ran on his relationships with the "greatest" Generals. If Mad Dog fundamentally disagrees with how things are being handled I would think there's a good chance others coming up under him would have similar views.
Nothing (and I mean nothing) makes me laugh more than a bunch of lower income Trump slobs gofunding their x-mas money for a wall. All this time I thought Mexico was paying for it?
Because every trump supporter seems to brag about the $12.54 (Christmas bonus) they gave to the wall. More than likely they only thing they ever contributed to our country. Most don't even make enough to pay federal taxes.
Brig. General Anthony Tata seems perfectly fine with it. He actually 100% agree with Trump's decision in Syria and has nothing but positive things to say regarding Trump, Mattis, and the Syria decision. He thinks the critics are wrong. Fast forward to 12:15 on the video from his appearance this morning on Fox.
What???? It's not my term, it is an actual demographic in the next census, 'lower income Trump slobs.' The best thing Romney ever said was how 47% of Americans are pretty much moochers. But..... he was wrong about who the actual mooochers are. 'eight of the top 10 states with the highest number of nonpayers are red states.' Including Florida DP. BURN.
So you found the one guy to agree with Trump? In all fairness, I agree with Trump on Syria, we need to get the hell out of the middle east period and let them destroy each other. Just not sure going to Twitter before your advisers is the best plan for execution.
He says positive things, but Mattis is one of the "genius's" he is sarcastically referring to when talking about the critics. I don't know enough to have an opinion on whether the draw down is a good or bad thing. I would just feel more comfortable if Mattis was on board, based on what I was told.
This is from just over two months ago. Trump telegraphed that this was going to happen essentially. Question: What about General Mattis? Answer: "Well I don't know, he hasn't told me, I have a very good relationship with him, it could be that he is... He's sort of a democrat if you want to know the truth. General Mattis is a good guy, we get a long very well. He may leave. At some point, everybody leaves, everybody, people leave, that's Washington."
I feel you, and i'm sure your friends are great people, but there are probably just as many people that are just as great who see it differently who also serve. I have nothing but respect for Mattis, but it is clear they don't see eye to eye on enough things. Mattis is making the right decision because of that. That position serves the President, not the other way around.
Flinging around generalities, painting entire groups with one broad brush, denigrating people as having low intelligence for their political choices if said choices differ from theirs, drastically reducing freedom of speech, forbidding dissent on college campuses & of course racism & misogyny are all, without question, hallmarks of the 'modern' Democratic party asshat. Oh, and wearing pink pussy hats, screaming & sobbing at the heavens, physically attacking federal employees, physically attacking people who don't have pink pussy hats on & generally maintaining their illusion of holding a higher moral authority / ground than the remainder of the flyover country people who don't agree with them....also Dem hallmarks. All the aspects to unify the nation & place a winning ticket in national office in 2020.
Your inability to have understanding is something else. He uses it because people FOLLOW him. I for one, do not follow. I use him as a vehicle, as it should be.
It is no secret that he was going to leave. But that doesn't make it less concerning to me. It's not just Syria, they have opposing views on other issues according to his resignation letter. Again, I'm not saying it's the end of the world. But what good are the greatest military minds if you don't use their knowledge.
I got you. I believe he got out of him what he needed to get out of him, and that was defeating ISIS in Iraq and Syria. Now he's ready to shift gears and that's probably where they disagree. In order to get to the next steps of his agenda, he needs someone who is willing to support that agenda. As solid as Mattis is at winning a war, maybe he isn't as solid at other things that need to be accomplished. Maybe Trump has someone in mind who he feels is more capable and more geared toward accomplishing the next steps of his agenda? I'm sure it will be fine bro, don't let the doubt and uncertainty get to you.
