I'll say this - go bet the Notre Dame game. The line is outrageous. I think ND is going to beat them straight up, but they'll definitely cover the spread.
yeah I get all sentimental too, and I honestly believe that all these "committees" that keep getting changed around to make the selection process more "fair" are just picking the same old teams over and over again because it's all about the $$$ and butt kissing and political ballsack fondling. but then I think, can UCF really beat OU? If I were a betting man, my money is on OU. And that's why I grudgingly believe that the selection committee got it right.
Despite the officiating, the Chargers and Chiefs put on an entertaining game last night. Both teams are now 11-3.
Fantasy football championship? I watch these guys every weekend, and they're doing a Heck of a job this year. But I think the defense needs another year to jell before we get a sniff of a division, much less a Super Bowl. But hey, we finally found a running game lol
great game tonight, defense did a good job against the beast that is Mahomes and is really coming together. And I don't recognise half of them this year lol
Does anybody else here feel like Jim Mora when ESPN, the media drones and others talk about "playoffs" after the very first game of the year? I mean, we've got these idiot talking heads saying stupid stuff like "oh, the (insert team name here) are in danger of not making the playoffs" when the team is 2-2. Really??? Seems like this Crap all started during the last couple of seasons when the NFL was worried about their viewing numbers because of the whole kneeling issue. So no wonder I've felt like Jim Mora in a press conference this entire season. "Playoffs? Playoffs?? Playoffs?!?" Give it a rest already, geez. Anyways, since we're down to the last games of the season, I think it's a way more appropriate time to pick who exactly is gonna go...all the way. Who do you think is going to the Super Bowl, and who do you think the eventual winner might be? I got the Rams and the Pats, with LA for the win.
I'll take the Saints vs Chiefs Saints win it. With them having home field all the way thru and the Super Bowl in a dome, I'd put my sheckles on them at this point.
Couldn't agree more, the moron talking heads go into freak out mode after one bad performance from a player or team, it's ridiculous. As for the Superbowl... well, it's hard to tell because there are so many good teams. Going with the ole "Defense wins championships", plus solid QB play and a decent offense I think the Bears will come out of the NFC and Chiefs will come out of the AFC. Bears just might take care of business this year but it's anybody's guess at this point. Will have a better idea after a couple playoff games and can see who's most healthy going into the conference Championships.
Defense win championships and your going with the Chiefs? You gotta explain that one. Also Bears still suck!!!
I was thinking of the Bears when I wrote that. I picked the Chiefs to lose against the Bears. I think the Chiefs can score enough points to beat most teams despite their defense, but see them getting shut down against a defense like the Bears. I’m not 100% sold on the Chiefs making it though. Mahomes has skills so we’ll see, but wouldn’t be surprised to see another team come from the AFC.
Ravens D is looking super tough right now. Rams D is stacked with studs AND the O is putting up Mahomes-type numbers, which is why I'm going with LA. But wouldn't it be cool if Foles leads the Iggles to another SB win
Big dick Nick and the Iggles will be a tough out if they get in. Their pass D is shredded with injuries and wasn't good to begin with though. Saints already murdered them. Don't sleep on Wilson and the Hawks D.
