All you need Submersble By: Passafire, Reggae/Rock Outta Control By: Rebelution, Reggae/Rock.... they have around 30 songs and every one of them is amazing Dark Angel By: Tribal Seeds, Reggae/Rock If you dont know the band rebelution, you should look them up because they're amazing!!!!!
Although, if it wasn't for Genesis, you know with Phil Collins, Tony Banks and Mike Rutherford (post-Gabriel), then none of my mentioned groups may be in existence. By saying that, I mean Genesis is one of the best bands ever due to their musical songwriting skills, deep talent, and heavy inspirational material. Simply astounding! Wind & Wuthering, ...And Then There Were Three..., and Duke are their best 3 IMO.
Strike Anywhere: Iron Front great melodic punk/hardcore from Richmond for fans of Good Riddance, Gorilla Biscuits, Lifetime...

Did you mean Mephiskapheles? The now-defunct NY satanic ska band? I miss them man they had some of the best tunes Ive ever heard in my life. Cobra Starship - I just heard them like a week ago. I just figured out they did the "Good Girls Go Bad" song. Eehh.. I can get past that. They're better than his old band Midtown
Great music EC! Contra's pretty decent, hit the torrent yesterday Some tunes to check out if you're into aural pleasure: Dirty Projectors - indie, experimental, rock Wild Beasts - indie pop/rock Animal Collective's new EP (really freaking good!!) - experimental indie pop/rock, hard to classify White Hinterland - dreamy chillwave//pop Atlas Sound///Deerhunter (Atlas Sound is a solo project of lead singer of deerhunter) - shoegaze///indie rock Department of Eagles - these guys are hilarious, check out 'forty dollar rug' - it's 2 guys, one of them is the guitarist from Grizzly Bear and everyone check out the tongue-in-cheek named genre 'chillwave' - including guys like Washed Out, Neon Indian, and Memory Tapes. It is what it sounds like - electro/synth/pop that feels dreamy and happy, kinda lilting and atmospheric. Great music to 'chill' to and it is like a 'wave' of 'chill', hence named. If ya'll like some of these tunes i can recommend hundreds more, from the obscure to the mainstream. Surfing and music are my passions.
In this vein, M83 is great, ambient instrumental indie. More good instrumentals are Explosions in the Sky and Trizteza. Not chill stuff, but some of my fav. indie/emo-type rock: Jimmy Eat World Fugazi/old Dischord post-hardcore Mineral Elliott Sunny Day Real Estate Appleseed Cast By a Thread Quicksand Weston 65 Film Show Most of these 90s-00s underground acts' music is available on RevHQ.com
