I gotta work so I'm going to miss most of the game. As a Bama fan, I got a weird feeling for this one. It depends on Tua's injury. I think it can go either way. It's all about which defense shows up.

Guess we learned why UCF didn’t belong in the top 4. Was a good game considering they were without their qb and half of LSU’s defense sat out. The sec is a different league as compared to the rest of the college football teams aside from Clemson. This should be a good matchup but I can’t see any team beating Alabama this year.

I think Saban is a giant asshole, but a really good coach and an excellent recruiter. I hope Clemson wins, but they have a true freshman QB. Bama has 2 seasoned QBs who have been in the fire and came out with big wins. Bama 31 Clemson 21.

31-16 at half. Clemson is getting in that ass. Trevor Lawrence, the true Freshman QB is playing like a pro!

Looks like Swinney knew exactly what he was doing when he dumped Bryant for a true freshman, kid looked great all year and wins the Championship.

Which brings us to the next argument:

Who would you draft? One of the new wave of "dual threat" QB's (Newton or Watson being good examples) or a prototype pocket passer with mobility (a la Rodgers)?

Pocket passer with mobility. In the NFL you have to be able to throw from the pocket, especially in the playoffs.

My buddy Dave from Alabammy (a Gator fan) texted me it was dead quiet up there last night, he got a great night's sleep. Just the sound of crickets chirping.

Man...........I enjoyed the hell out of that game. Watching Saban have absolutely ZERO answers to stop Sunshine, left a nice grin on my face all night.

You are wasting your time posting these nice pictures on this thread. These guys prefer to watch men in tights running around slapping each other on the fanny. Not normal......defectives....

Same as what DP said. A pocket passer who can also throw dimes while being flushed. Like Rogers, Luck, or Wentz. I think Deshaun Watson can develop into this as well. Of course, if you criticize quarterbacks that run more that they pass (Lamar Jackson), in this day and age, people will call you raciss.

In the same as Rodgers. Having the smarts to extend plays by quickly assessing the situation and either stepping up in the pocket, stay in the pocket and fire away, run out of the box to pass, or run for gain. Mahomes is way, way ahead of schedule with his smarts. But we will see what he does in the playoffs. He may regress.
