Dude I don't know what you're reading but the rest of us are getting bombarded with "stories" about these 2 skanks since the midterms. I haven't seen a story about the other 2 clowns in weeks, they're buried under Page 1 in all the MSM has had to offer the last few weeks.

So Manafort got convicted for tax evasion, among other things. How much time do you think he'll spend in a white collar prison? I've got money on a year, give or take a month or 2. Will that make the libs happy?

Don't forget about your skunk-coiffed president. I also got money that Manafort will get pardoned (eventually). Could be immediately, could be an act of leaving office. But it WILL happen, amigo. You can bet your solar panels on it.

And when it's all said and done, the charges in Virginia won't stick. As soon as Manafort serves some time, Virginia will lose interest in pursuing a conviction. Why? Because it's just good business.

Cohen is a different story. Manafort nutted up and didn't rat. He will be rewarded. Cohen may have given up some tidbits, but we don't really know exactly what or how much. Lawyers are sleazy and smart. If he gave up anything of value, we'd be seeing action already.

If anything, Mueller will give a strongly worded rebuke of the administration and probably even the president. But this thing is winding down and losing steam. It is starting to appear that the Mueller counsel may attempt to drag this out during Trump's entire term.

Yeah Watergate took 2 years, but the evidence continued to build during the investigation, and the Washington Post was there every step of the way.

Let's just relax, and see how things play out

I'm plenty relaxed, both of these chicks will be out of office in two years. If Manafort gets pardoned, it means Trump is a one termer. That's a fair trade for me lol

You mention Watergate, I wouldn't compare this to the Watergate Investigation. Liken it more to Whitewater.

So border apprehensions are waaaay down from what they were 18 years ago, but yet suddenly we have a 'crisis' at the border, and we're going to inflict great economic pain upon ourselves for something that will, at best, offer only a small incremental improvement in overall border security. Our leader rocks.

This opinion piece is what my biggest concern with Trump has been. If he declares this a national emergency you guys will live to regret it when the Dems take back the WH. Trump's precedents of not following political process is cool when he is your guy, but he is setting up the next "not your guy" to do the same thing. The bar just keeps getting lowered and we all may pay the price.

What people like you never seem to notice is how the years and numbers correlate with national policy.

Look closely at 2002-2003. The numbers drop considerably, then go down gradually. Why exactly is that, Sig?

Because Dubya enacted laws which built the first real fencing (you know, that same fencing you pasted with your last post, pronouncing how we don't need further walls) and effectively doubled manpower on the border.

See, Sig, when you increase manpower and infrastructure, your results will look an awful lot like the graph you posted lol.

We're already spending 4 billion a year in border security, but sure, I'm happy to throw 5 billion more at the border, no problemo. It's all borrowed money anyway, who cares. But to shutdown the government and adversely affect millions of citizens just because you want *all* the money to go to a 'big beautiful wall' is moronic. Not to mention, he promised Mexico would pay for the thing like 1,000 times, so to now come after the US taxpayer is a big fat FAIL.

And really what does 5 billion get you anyways? Just a piece of wall. A complete Trump wall will cost you 25 bil or so.
