    Congrats Matt and the wife!

But what the heck are you doing posting on SwellInfo while your wife's in the hospital? I had my first kid 35 years ago, and my last 18 years ago, so trust me when I say, just wait til she gets to be a teenager! And we all want to see her new mini Hyperflex full suit.

    Thanks everyone

I dont think my water time will get affected too much more. My wife is real understanding with my surfing needs. My 5 year old is bugging me no stop to get her a surfboard so when it gets warmer out I will probally have wynn shape her a scalled down version of a longboard.

As for me being here and not up there. OUr hospital has weird hours now since the H1N1 thing went around. Plus I have my two other kids with me and they are not allowed up to see the baby cause of agian the H1N1 thing.

Yes it does get easier. after they are 2 like stated but the key thing is keep them active doing stuff like sports or any type of out door activity. From my experience if yo keep a kid active and interacting with other kids. They seem to be more prone to finding things to do on there own when you are home . My kids are very active between school and what thing me and my wife plan for them to do . When it comes time for bed they dont even fight us about it . Right to bed and not a peep until 7 am the next day

Plus to if you subject a child to interaction with other kids early they learn skill like sharing and will have other better interation skill that they will need later in life
