Doing alright, thx for asking. Been busy with work and things as well .. enjoying hot beverages during this cold spell ... trying not to get too wired on 'feine.. hard to resist a good cup 'of joe though..

That is one great album; I have been listening to that since 1970 or so. Always loud. Thinking of buying myself a ES 335, same guitar Alvin Lee played. Something to do during long winter nights!!

 

Here is another great album from TYA. Their best, actually--listen to it loud as you can go.

 

There was a lot going on then: continuation of civil rights movement, women's lib, "sexual revolution", Vietnam and the peace movement, the Nixon era, etc. A redefining of long-held traditional roles and values.

I'm coming off a gnarly stomach virus that has allowed me to reevaluate my consumption habits including that of caffeine, which during the fedex days was getting out of control. 2 cups black one sugar in the am and one in the afternoon if I have the baby and I need it.

Yes .. do it! So would you go Gibson (which would set you back $2-3k) or Epiphone? I bought my daughter a used Epiphone Dot (baby blue) when she was a teenager. It plays decent with a little setup work. I myself like Fender S and T styles, but enjoy noodling around on most guitars. And be sure to get decent amp ..

 

I wold go Gibson--thy have a new color called blueberry blue. And yes....3900 bucks. But it would be worth it. Wake up the neighborhood!! hahahaha!!

On many levels, it's a good way to spend time. I've been doing the same on my 5-string.
Improving or further developing music skills is much more productive and satisfying than watching TV, playing video games,...or spending/wasting time on the computer (woops).
