We get 3.5 feet on full moons LOL. First time I went to NH and surfed The Wall, the tide swing freaked me out, all of a sudden there is an island offshore around state line. Same thing in Dominical CR, the rocks were way close to the surface after a couple hours of dodging bombs. Coming in on the last wave, all kinds of boils in the pit freaking me out.
My extended “family” has a condo right across the street from The Wall. I plan on surfing quite a bit this year and doing condo stays lol. And as far as the thread - I won’t watch it, haven’t watched a Patriots super bowl in the last three, but Brady is the GOAT, period. No matter how much of a donkey he is. And he and belichick will be the greatest tandem of all time after Sunday unless lala pulls off a good one. I won’t watch the game because of all the dam socio-political liberal horsecrap commercials and social justice bs. And I also don’t watch the NFL cause their a horde of jackazzholes with diahrea of their mouths. I take a knee against them Hahahaha
Siss would love our moon tides huh Barry? 12.1, 12.2 and all those crazy things you see exposed for the first time in years. Like the whole ocean drains out.
Jim was thrilled to get a ticket for the Super Bowl. The big day came and he took his seat in the stand. After the pre-game show he noticed the seat in front of him was still vacant. Even after the kick-off nobody was sitting there, so he asked the guy next to the empty seat why nobody was sitting there. The guy replied, "It would have been my wife's seat but she just died." "Well," said Jim, "why didn't you just bring a friend or relative?" The guy replied, "Oh, they're all at the funeral."
Dude I'm with you. Except for the Brady thing. If your going off super bowl wins, sure i get that. But it's a team sport. I may be biased since I'm a packer fan. But Brady was never able to do what Rodgers does. Rodgers wins games with little to no help from the rest of his team. Not saying rodgers is goat. But put Brady on another team for his career. He would not of done what he has done. Plus he got caught cheating. But yeah, i don't pay attention to much political type stuff. But i seen that gilette commercial. I know super bowl commercials will have something to say one way or another. Id rather live under a rock. I'll watch somthing else
Hate to say it, but Brady is the greatest quarterback in history, with or without this coming Super Bowl. I fought it for years, not being a fan of his, but it’s too hard to make the argument that he isn’t at this point. Super Bowl rings matter, and the fact that he’s so consistent year after year and into his 40’s. He has turned nobody wide receivers into pro-bowlers and in some cases maybe even Hall of Famers. The cast around him have not always been great. Lack of a premier running back year after year. Yeah he had Gronk for a little while, and he had Moss for a minute. But overall he’s done the most with the least.
Im not going to get into this debate for two reasons. One, I honestly don't care. And two, i don't have the numbers. But it's not about his offense. It's his defense. I listened to two analyst talk about this. I forget who. But the amount of points his D let's up (or doesn't let up i should say) matters. Don't have the numbers, not going to look, but yeah. Like i said. Not saying either is the GOAT. But rodgers D sucks. He can't coast to hold a lead. He has to go full throttle always. Point is, the whole GOAT talk doesn't make sense in a team sport. You can't honestly tell me he would have the same amount of super bowl rings if he was on another team. That wouldn't make him any less of a player though. Same guy with the same skill. But super bowl rings matter? So if he wasn't a pat he wouldn't be the goat? I mean logically, it just doesn't make sense.
Brady has won 5 of 7 Super Bowls, all of which he led the team to a game winning drive late in the 4th quarter or overtime. The defense had zero to do with scoring on the game winning drive. Yes it is a team sport, and yes you need a good defense to stay in the game, and there is the old saying defense wins championships, but you also need a quarterback that is going to get you a TD or get you to within field goal range when there's only a minute or two left on the clock and you're down and could lose the game if you don't move the ball and score points. Look, like I said, I didn't want to accept he is the GOAT for years, but I find it hard to argue at this point. It helps having one of the greatest coaches of all time too. That being said, if you put Brady on another team, I have no doubt he would have won some rings else where. The guy is a winner, period.
What makes Brady the GOAT is that he does it with different teams. Aside from Randy Moss (1 season) he's never had great players. They get average players/cast offs from other teams and they are suddenly great when they come to New England. I do think Rodgers is more skilled and could be the most talented QB I've ever seen, so he should win more. The Pats have had soooo much turnover throughout the years, so you can't say it's the team. You can make the argument that it's more Belichick than Brady, but we won't know until one leaves.
