Honestly didn't read everything you wrote. First few lines said it all. Game winning drive, defense not on the field. Correct. But look up how many points the D let up in the second half of those games..... allowing for the game winning drive. Not saying he's a bad quarterback. Just saying these things matter. Where as rodgers had (and may still have.i don't know) the best passer rating in NFL HISTORY. Somthing that the D has no part in. Plus he never got caught cheating. People tend to forget that when talking about him being goat.
Well, I read even less of what you wrote. There. BTW, Aaron Rogers isn't even close to Brady. He's good but not that good.
my definition of cheating is shaving points or sticking your butt out on the playing field to trip up the winning run on the base paths or the sideline, not letting 1/10th of a pound of air out of a football lol Wins are the ultimate measure of defining the greatest, and Brady is the GOAT hands down. Brady could start for any basement dweller in the league and turn them into a winning team. Rodgers can do it all and is indeed a great QB. But playing for McCarthy hurts him a bit. And sometimes, he gets bad...like streaky bad, where he looks like Bortles bad. It's all about clutch wins, and Brady is the absolute last guy I want to see on the field against my team. Mahomes is getting there pretty damn quick tho
Not anymore, he got fired last year. The new coach is Matt LaFleur. So this should give him a chance to prove it was McCarthy's fault, and not his for sucking lately.
Whodafuq is Matt LaFleur lol, sounds like he should be coaching the Saints. Gotta be better than Hue Jackson tho
LMAO He was the quarterbacks coach for the Redskins from 2010-2013, Notre Dame QB coach in 2014 and the Falcons QB coach from 2015-2016 and was offensive coordinator for the Rams in 2017 and Titans in 2018.
Joe Montana 4-0 Super Bowl record. Was it Walsh's West Coast offense that should get the credit? Jerry Rice? Ronny Lott? Steve Young also thrived as QB, and was a better all around athlete, but Joe has the rings, and the killer instinct. Like Brady, he's a closer. Maybe the best ever. It's hard to make comparisons. It's easier when it's mono a mono. Ali v Tyson in their prime? I'll go with Ali, due to a better mind.
I would go with Tyson. He has/had a killer instinct derived from hate for all adversaries. In the ring, nothing beats that. Not a great mind, not a great technique. Pure unfettered and well directed hate. He was scary, really.
I had Montana listed at #1 for most of my life as far as QB's go, I still want him to be #1, but Brady unfortunately surpasses him at this point IMO. And come Sunday, if he wins another, it would be foolish to try and argue otherwise.
Good game, great food, cold beers, can’t ask for much more than that. The game was boring to a lot of people because of the low score but there was some good football played. Add another game winning drive to Brady’s record. Rams played solid defense most of the game, but couldn’t get it together on offense. They are a young team will learn from that experience and get better.
