Well, yes, I use Jetblue to got to PR. But as for watching movies, I am not a movie watcher, ever. The time spent in a long hollow tube, no matter how good an airline is, sucks. I use Air France or Lufthansa to go to Europe--nice airline, but I do not see it any different. Except for the chicks--they still want great looking babes for stewardesses, not the fat, ugly, equal opportunity, unskilled pigs american airlines are forced to hire.
Pony up or utilize your miles for First Class, B, and be sure to book passage on a non-US airline. Even a crabcake like you will be smiling when the smokin' hot FAs on ANA bring you your jammies & slippers to change into. Then they ply you with endless rounds of excellent food, sake, Dom Perignon, whatever you wish; or, just kick back in your full-length lie-flat comfy berth & have a deep snooze. You might not want to get off the plane at journey's end
CJ and LB LMK when you will be in Hatteras...I will try to slip down and have a sesh. CJ, I guess I would look for the white photo lense lol...
Would love to, but 30 month old grand daughter coming to spend weekend with "Baba" so I am confined to quarters!! But I love it.
Look up periformis stretches - I kid you not. They are one of the leading causes of “back” issues. I haven’t had any since I got the hips done and learned those stretches. Buddy had a really blown out lower back from the gym - showed him a lacrosse ball massage that’s as painful as hell but between that and stretching he was good to go in three days time. Add this into your list Bruh, I swear by it.
I used to use the lacrosse ball all over, just got a foam roller though. Game changer man. Remember my leg issues i was having late summer into fall? Yeah completly gone now
My buddy came over to surf a while back and brought one with him once and I tried it out, and it was amazing. I will have one soon.
Finally pulled the trigger on Nicaragua in August, this morning. $268 for a nonstop roundtrip, couldn't pass it up. Fingers crossed a revolution doesn't break out between now and then. Also, couldn't agree more on the foam roller. Used to have knee soreness frequently when playing sports/surfing. Started rolling out my IT band daily and hardly ever have issues now.
Get the hard Grey/black one or the orange one with the ridges and bumps. Like torture but your legs and back will thank you repeatedly. BMon was hurting for a while and then started doing the work - he says enough.
Hurts but man doesn’t it play a big role? I had crazy knee stuff happening this fall and was convinced I need new knees ... come to find out that and spasmed minor bands behind calves were making knee work wonky and causing pain. Some PT work and stretches and I’m 100% And Dude, Nicaragua looks to be a great destination - just be careful Man, it’s a very different world down there nowadays Americano.
Yeah it felt great to me, I usually fall asleep when I get a deep tissue massage. The one he had was just black or grey.
Amazing something so simple is so beneficial with all the crazy wellness crap out there. Thanks for the tip, always tread lightly in a foreign land, but speaking the language usually helps keep me out of any serious trouble.
268 bucks roundtrip?? Which airline....?? Treetop Airlines?? "We harvest Coconuts as we get you to destination".
Yeah mine is a cheap one. Black which is the hardest one you can get. No bumps or grooves or anything. It can be a bit painful, but that good pain, depending on which area you hit. Some people suggest starting with a softer one to avoid injury while you get used to the technique. If you just take it slow and back off if you experience too much pain youll be fine. Well worth it. And Mr. B.....100% with the IT bands. I think that was my issue. Did plenty of hip stretches and all that with not much relief. Got the roller and hit everything, but lots of IT work as those had some discomfort the most. All better.
Me thinks you have a girlfriend in CR, Yankee!! I mean, you keep returning, over and over....?? And if you do.....good for you!! Keep an eye out for them crocs. Humans are indeed on their menu. Have a great trip.
