I agree that he should get time in the can. But I'm waiting to hear what insane excuse he's going to come up with for why he did what he did. Almost guarantee that he will be somehow blaming Trump lol

Convicted?? In Chicago??? Huh?? Did you guys not notice his race?? He will be given a Honorary PHD from University of Chicago, complimentary tickets to the next Democratic Convention, and have a date arranged for him with AOC, despite being gay......

Yeah, I've noticed that too. All the major media outlets have cranked up white racism/KKK stories in my "trending" news stories. Lending credence to a bullshat story to soften the blow for a comrade in arms.

He is a gay black actor. He checks almost all the liberal cause boxes. He would check all the boxes if he were a gay black female actor with Native American ancestry. He would then be untouchable.

Sorry to say, the only jail time he will see is when he is charged and waiting to clear bail.

He will plead down from the 4th degree False Claim charge (which should probably be labeled a hate crime). He will pay a fine on the resulting misdemeanor.

The fake mail is another thing. The gubmint doesn't take that sh1t lightly. He will be charged with a felony and pay fines but won't see jail time. This, on the surface, also appears to be a hate crime. But we all know how that will play out.

His acting career is probably over. He will probably still be a popular singer in his own hateful little circles. And I'm sure that some of these organized hate groups that blindly supported his allegations will find some comfy little job for him in their organization.

OK folks, I know we all have pretty much made our minds up here, but he is denying the charges.

This one looks like a home run, but the criminal justice system need to run it's course.

If he did set this up, and don't get me wrong it looks like he did, then I stand by my "embarrassment to humanity" statement, but until then I have to reserve my final judgement.

HH, of course he's pleading innocent....it's how his attorneys utilize chips to negotiate a plea deal for the POS Smollett.
You should pay more attention to the reality in the American crim justice shiiiit show, and realize this ain't 10th grade civics class
